Review of Green & Blue
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (3.5)
A poem starting with the display of colours. Green and blue are signs of positiveness in life. But immediately after in the next line the reader comes c across darkness and death. What an inappropriate contrast!. It seems that the author is still in search of the main theme. It needs to be refashioned in an organised way.

The story of Bert reflects thousands of homeless people who live on a daily basis on the streets. For these people life is restricted to the area where the travel to and fro. The depend on alms for their survival. They have to surmount innumerable problems before acquiring their means of subsistence. How many Berts are there in the world who live just for to- day?

Review of Hunt You Down

Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
A long story narrated in the future. Filled with fiction and suspense it retains the attention of the reader till the end. But which world are you talking about? From your descriptions it gives an indication of the apocalypse..You need a lot of imagination to build up such a work of fiction. Another thing the author keeps the reader in suspense about the royal seal.

A pitiful poem portraying the loss of the beloved one. I can fully understand the feelings of John because I have undergone such moral torments when my wife died from an incurable disease years ago. Indeed it is an irreparable loss which can nobody can replace. As rightly pointed out she will remain in the heart forever.Although you find another person to share your sorrows the first love will remain at the top position

You seem to be enjoying life to the optimum.Settled in the Irish corner with your wife both of you must be leading a peaceful life in that particular haven of your own. I think there is zero stress over there as things are going smoothly and slowly. It must be quite different from the big agglomerations where the speed is 200 km/hour. There is plenty of time relaxation and entertainment. It looks like an ideal region to live.

a poem written in the form of a story portraying the usual brawls among students going to school. Here we see the problem of bullying at school which is becoming a real problem for rectors. This inevitably affects the smooth education of students specially the weaker ones. However, as regards the love between Ted and Cindy it started only after the fighting event- a blessing in disguise!

A poem reflecting on the different views about beauty. Unfortunately, people tend to consider only physical beauty. But it can be interpreted in several ways. It is generally agreed beauty and intelligence rarely go in pairs with each other.. In fact, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Every individual possesses beauty in his own way.. God has created everything beautiful.

An interesting poem written to put emphasis on the value of birds in life. According to the story of Karen it is deduced that the birds were the detonating factor which brought success in her life. She was idle and bored with life. Only a simple incident improved her life. Really, it was a great job caring for animals.

Review of Not my duchess.
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
A poem evoking of regrets at the departure of the beloved. The writer gives the impression that he was well cared for and loved during the previous days but now he'/ she is looking again for TLC. Some funny words contribute to diminish the tension created in the lines. The poet still remembers those wonderful moments.

A story depicting the soldier missing badly his family. He gives the impression of being fed up with the war business. Ryan is yearning to meet his family. But he has to continue to fight for his country. The author gives a vivid description of the attack and defense mechanisms of the army. It seems that he/she has really visualised a battle in person. Unknowingly Ryan lost his locket but fortunately he retrieves it after the victory

A story depicting the baneful effects of curse on humanity. It describes how it can destroy a peaceful life and bring about nightmares in the society. But a positive curse, that's something utopic and unusual. However, if it does exist then this particular curse should be welcome with much pleasure to change the world of abomination into that of love. If you symbolise that love then you can shed light in this world of darkness!.

Review of Butterflies Die
Review by Boz
Rated: ASR | (4.0)
A poem portraying the sad end of an insect. It describes the life cycle of the butterfly and how it leaves this world innocently. the personification of innocence adds great significance to the poem. Solitude has also been well tackled in a few lines. However, it requires some fine tuning as far as death is concerned.

A poem depicting the rise of a new voice after many efforts carried out by several beings. It does not give a direct image of the new creation. IT seems a bit tortuous and confusing. Referring to the religion of our ancestors the author tends to evaluate its importance in shaping the new wave of creation. It derives its source from ancient civilisation

Review of A Foolish Notion
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
A serious story related in the most solemn way. It puts the reader in suspense throughout. At the beginning there is the impression that David's mother is being treated for senile dementia but as it unfolds we get information about the hypothetical miseries undergone by her. The dialogue seems to be quite serious specially the intention of killing. But , finally it takes another turn ending up with April's fool

Review of Awkward T

A romantic poem crying for love. The type of love is not specified. The author is in quest of any form of love. Although he/she cannot express this sentiment clearly yet there is the need for it. According to the poem the quality of love does not matter but only its presence is required.Reciprocal feelings are secondary

A fearful poem reminding the reader the incredible cold days in New York. People were stuck everywhere. It was so awful that many persons could not eat, drink or sleep. It was unique in the annals of the US. America stopped for a period of time- the superpower. But we must expect worse than that due to global climate changes.

An exhaustive story plunging the reader in a world of fiction .. It portrays the image of the last man as a robot controlled by modern technologies. It leads humanity to return to the future. The descriptions are quite illusive creating pictures of the last man as those of a superman. However, he' s not alone in the last stages of the world. The presence of Sheila helps to break this solitude. It gives the impression of Gulliver's travels.

A good description of the qualities of Hong. The author has given us a vivid image of the dog. Indeed it has many skills and from the story we learn that it has received along training by its master to become a wonderful animal. With the exceptions of a few typos mistakes in the first two paragraphs the story is well maintained. The canine race is indeed a clever animal- I once saw a dog crossing the road in the pedestrian area.

The story tells us about a happy couple dining comfortably in a restaurant. The express their love amidst all the other clients. There is a convivial atmosphere. But the author subtly changes the environment into a morose one by the fortune affair. it plunges the reader in suspense. Nobody can detect its meaning. Only withe the outbreak of the fire the reader realises that it has some ressemblence with the attacks of 11h September...

This writing reflects the opinion of the author about Valentines Day. indeed it's a unique opportunity to express your love. But according to me love must be perpetual- not just on that particular day. All the items listed do not necessarily symbolise love. In fact, they are only meant for commercial purposes. A simple and sincere kiss is enough.

This little excerpt give the reader broad idea what is coming afterwards. Mathew is portrayed as a journalist perhaps looking for some kind of inspiration for his writing. Considering the environment in which he finds himself it can be predicted that the novel will project weird elements. The different types of smell gives the reader a connotation of tragedy.

Review of Middletown
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
A poem reviving the olden days in Middletown. The reader is astounded to see what is left of the once famous town. The entire region is in a state of ruins and desolation. The inhabitants who were active have become poor and miserable. No upgrading and repairs have been effected to the buildings which represent serious hazards. As it was man made who cares now?

Review of Dear Wastebasket
Review by Boz

A poem dedicated to the waste paper basket. The bin seems to be overloaded with junk food- the author refers to feeding the basket. Indeed the trash basket is useful to a large extent by disposing of undesirable items. But so we have to empty it everyday? I consider it more practical to keep it in a hidden place unseen and emptied weekly.

A realistic poem based on the philosophy of life. Life is compared to a rose. Just like the flower life is ephemeral. With the uncertainties no one can guarantee eternity. Life is like a bubble of water. It can break at any time. That's why man must live every second of life fully. Really we are a puppet in the hands of death.

Review of This and That
Review by Boz
Rated: 18+ | (4.0)
A long story exposing the love relationship between Don and Annie. There is a big contrast between the two characters. Don believes in emotional love while his partner is prone to physical love only. She is more inclined towards fucking business.. The discussion demonstrates their divergent views on love. Alas! nowadays people do longer know the real meaning of love. Most of the time it is considered as relieving affair.
