Review of The Whirlpool
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
A poem analysing the various conjectures and scenarios which characterize life. It has ups and downs..The poem pertains to philosophical aspects with emphasis on the mode of living. life is like a fortune wheel. Sometimes you are up and sometimes down. Just like in a whirlpool , at one time the person can be atop and at another time he can be found deep in water.Nobody can assert to have a control over life. The poem reflects well this reality.

Review of LOVE-LY
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
The poem bears testimony about the transformation from fiancee to wife.Indeed love is an ocean of bliss for you that you are overjoyed with it l. It seems that you are lost in this love. This poem depicts how profound is that love which procures you so much happiness. You seem to be drowned from head to toe in the sea of amour. But for how long will it last?

The poem reminds me of Florence Nightingale. It's a strange coincidence that your Florence is also a nurse.Being myself a nurse I understand how much patience and compassion you will get through your fiancee. The first line implies how much she loves you and ready to live and die for you. I look forward that she cares for you both in times of wellness and illness. I am certain you are in good hands.

Review of Abandoned

The poem underlines the impacts of loneliness on the individual. Depression usually springs out of sheer loneliness and idleness.Dialogue is an efficient healer in these circumstances. Indeed you feel distressed and rejected when there is no one to care for you. Patients suffering from depression need TLC and all types of support to overcome it.Another good way to tackle it is to seek refuge in prayers, meditation and God.

Review of Sweet dreams
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
The story plunges the reader into a world of dream and escapism. How nice it would have been to work in such a department? paid for sleeping and looking beautiful to every customer. Most of the time daydreaming.. It is a good way to divert one,s mind from the daily routine and stress of life. However, not always the dreams led to the world of escapism. Sometimes they do turn into nightmares causing harm to the mind.

The poem witnesses the profound love which submerges your heart for the four babies. The have become an important part of your life. Indeed babies are a source of happiness and pleasure at home. It seems that your life revolves around those babes.Of course your reaction is quite normal when you are suddenly deprived of your kids. But how can the court deprive you of their nurturing so suddenly without any notification? They are innocent. Why should they pay for the fault of others.? And what is the role of the father? Can he raise them all alone? The babies need their mother and vice -versa.

A very touching poem on lost love. The expression of the words compel the reader to feel and share the melancholy of love.Bereaved of the loss, the poet is in a lethargic condition. His /her love was all the possession in the world.Deeply affected by this loss, the individual cannot accept it. He moves heaven and earth to retrieve this source of happiness. Indeed only those who suffer in love know the intensity.

Review of To The Broken
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
Your poem is a reflection of the state of mind and moral attitude of those who have undergone through sufferings and torments in life. It is addressed directly to such people. But who can deny having been depressed in life?Indeed life is not a bed of roses. The moral threshold to bear pain is different according to human beings. Some people bend easily whereas others have an iron- made moral which help them to resist any tsunami. However, one should remember that every cloud has a silver lining.. Some persons can recover quickly after a depression while for others it takes time. Another category prefer to suffer silently- Stoicism

Review of untitled 1
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | N/A (Review only item.)
The story begins by letting the reader know that the main character is a writer slogging with a rejected manuscript which he/she is trying to polish before sending it again. There is also a synopsis of the writing. Immediately, the author changes topic and tells about his/her personal life and the mate Cody. The story takes several twists and turns thereby diverting the attention of the reader. It is spoiled by instability.

A little but great poem. Little for its length but great for its contents.' Life is absurd' as pointed out by Jean- Paul Sartre. However, you have looked into another dimension of life by emphasizing on the importance of air. It is an undeniable fact that human beings need to breath for their survival. But the most striking thing is that air is absolutely free. Even the most opulent person on earth cannot buy it with all his wealth.Air symbolises life.

Review of Jacked!
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
Your poem has been jacked from start to finish. By pondering over the satirical implications it is conspicuous that in every nook and corner of the society things do not turn round as per our wishes. Everywhere there is deceit and disloyalty. But who can be so pretentious to change the world? Indeed the poem reflects all the evil realities of the world we live in. Jacked for being perfect.

Review of The Flower
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
You poet is dedicated to a special and unique flower which is blooming in your own garden. This specific flower has a particular colour and fragrance which only the gardener can appraise. Compared to all the other flowers this one will not wither and perfume your life. This line is well adapted' You deserve a vase'. Keep watering your flower so that it remains fresh and fragrant.

The expedition led by Shackleton is a rare example of bravery and perseverance. Despite all the impediments and difficulties which he and his crew had to face they were not disheartened at all. The ship persisted on its voyage and had to confront many obstacles on its path to South Georgia. It's good to plunge into history from time to time. Modern explorers have a to learn a lot from Shackleton.

Review of One Last Ride
Review by Boz
Rated: ASR | (4.0)
The story is based on the details about the previous life of Sally. It depicts how she was very active when she was younger. Now that she's older, she visualises her days of youth making a flashback of the days when she used to ride horses excellently. The author then diverts our attention towards another fact. Sally is now ill and needs medication from the pharmacy. As she lives alone there is nobody to get the pills for her. During her ride she meets other people. The story is interesting but it seems to be rather long. Many details could have been omitted.

The poem depicts the importance of living. Life is ephemeral . In the first and second stanzas the theme is about existence. But as it proceeds a sudden change is denoted with a slight digression of the theme. The third one ideals with tranquility whereas the last one evokes about time.Hence, there is no clear cut idea about the topic which the poem deals with.

Review of SHOOTING STARS
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
The watching of shooting stars is indeed a real pleasure to the eyes. The scenes are beautiful specially at night when tranquility is prevailing. By casting one's glance on the moonlit sky the onlooker visualises the shooting of stars which produce soothing impacts on the mind. But the timing of such events is not always accurate. However, nobody can tell where these stars end up their destination.

The story is thrilling focusing the reader's attention on the only character who appears to be waiting for the right time to shoot at his prey. From past history it is noticed that the killer himself has been a victim of some machination previously. The construction of the story looks well worked with the setting up of only one sentence for one idea. The final scene depicts some sort of relief for the killer.

Review of Mousie

Really interesting poem. I enjoyed reading it. The mouse made up its mind to befriend you. However, all your tricks failed to get rid of it. it's intention was to live together with you. Tempted by cheese it remained in your house. After you fed it the mouse wanted to have more and more .food. It was an ingenious trick to teach your neighbour a lesson by using the mouse.

Review of A Man
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
The poem deals with the supernatural as deduced from the opening line. This is my first impression. But as you proceed along it digresses to other themes. The writer describes various situations of life whereby the character is depicted as a feeble creature. He seems to be lost in an unknown world. The poem needs clarification in certain lines.

The poem depicts how the sorceress uses her magical charms to ensnare young men and hypnotize them. As men have a weakness for beautiful women the y easily fall into their traps. One thing which you have underlined in the poem is the'emerald green gaze' with which the woman enchants her prey. The consequence is fatal with the death of the young man. The poem should be considered as a premonition to dashing young men.

Review of Foolishness
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
A poem based on lost love. What can be more unfortunate to have something and then lose it? It depicts to what extent the lover is frustrated to have lost his beloved. In every nook and corner he visualises her image and remembers deeply about his special person. This is the greatest mistake you have committed. Once you have a bird in hand you must close your fist so that it does not fly away.

The arrival of a new packet arouses the curiosity of Chuck who unknowingly opens it to look inside. As soon as he sees what is inside, he hurries towards his PC and begins to play the CD. To his utmost surprise he find out that it is about a list of the persons living in his vicinity which includes his name as well. By manipulating the mouse on the screen he is marveled at his transformation resembling himself.

Review of Green With Envy

The story is good reflection about using drugs to boost up performances in sports. Throughout various competitions it has been noticed how athletes abuse of steroids and other substances to break records. This has been severely condemned by international sports federations . Considered as cheating it is strictly forbidden in the sports competitions. Here it is a good example of of using performance enhancers to surpass the adversary.

Rated: ASR | (4.0)
The poem makes the writer go into a flashback about the dream concerning the lover. It gives an idea about the sentimental aspect of the dream. It illustrates the feeling of the lover during the wedding of his beloved with another partner. It seems that the faithful lover has a good knowledge about his rival and has spent time in his company. He gives the impression to get along well the opponent. Only in the last line he talks about obssesion

Review of My Nephew
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
A poem dedicated to your nephew. It is obvious from the lines that you share a unique relationship with that child. You have showered love, tenderness and much care upon him so that he grew up happily. Indeed this bond is beyond description and unbreakable. It seems that if one day he is aloof from you it will be unbearable .
