The poem illustrates how the inhabitants of Mossflower fought for their locality till their last breath. Devoting souls and bodies in the battle , they engaged them selves in warfare until it achieved freedom from the enemies. The poem evokes a strong sense of patriotism. It resembles more or less a satire by using animals. However, it is too lengthy which makes the reader lose interest.

Review of Oh the Cost

An excellent tribute to the soldier who devotes soul and body to protect and defend the country. Indeed, for every sacrifice which the soldier does there is a huge price to pay for it. It requires much courage and skills in warfare to fight the enemy from invading US. The Us army is considered as the most powerful one in the world. But too much money is budgeted for military affairs.

Review of Soaked Coyote
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (3.5)
The poem is well drafted with a good debut emphasizing on the coyote and its surroundings. The setting is in nature with rain and thunder. It underlines the solitude of the animal and its bravery to adventure in the storm. There is a linking factor between you and the coyote- loneliness. You consider it as a guide for you. With the same intention and destination you paths are similar.

From your poem it is deduced that hope has been lost for ever. Living a life of despair and expecting the worse- this is the message of the poem. But here goes the saying' Till there is life there is hope'. The lines evoke well this feeling of hopelessness-' Forever I'll fail every time I'll try'. There is is good rhyming and the stanzas are well balanced in four lines

The story begins with a description of the setting . It looks crowded and stuffy with people of low morale smoking and involved in all sorts of pleasures. One particular person attracts the attention of the reader- a whore who is carrying out her illegal business trying to hook clients. She meets all types of men but disagrees on the fees. Continuing to search for clients she comes across a virgin who is interested with her. They indulge both in sex and drug smoking. But how Dakota's business is pulled down?

Review of Phone Service
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
An eerie story. Since the very beginning it is very clear that you don't believe in supernatural things. Very often these events occur to people who don't accept such occurrences. It seems that the phone has brought luck to you. I think you should not worry about the caller's id. It acts as a whistle blower to you;informing you about good news and warning you against mishaps. The informant seems to be a protecting angel to you.Never change the phone.

Review of The Last Soldier
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
A vibrant poem paying homage to the last soldier fighting till his last breath. The soldier is committed to his profession and his country. Although he dies in the battlefield he accomplishes his mission successfully. He will be known as a hero in the annals of his country. The poem is reminiscent of the long war in Bosnia where many lives were lost. The line' Mourn. For here we are led' has a big significance and gives food for thought as far as war is concerned.

Review of Longing
Review by Boz

A short poem comparing the liberty which girls have nowadays opposite to boys. The boy is behind bars unable to move from the spot where he finds himself. He feels like a captive and is envious of the freedom which the girls are enjoying. It is quite the contrary actually. Girls are more free than boys. It was a time when women's place was at home. The poem has laid much stress on this issue

A n interesting and funny story about Sophia and her cat. We see to what extent she was attached to the animal. They watched TV together and spent good moments. The scene where Halo is trapped under the blanket is really comic and provokes laughter. The snapshot must have been unique with the terrified feline.

Review of Time-Zoned!!
Review by Boz

The subject of the story is based on internet connections around the world. The difference between time is a real impediment as far as delivery of reports and other items are concerned. This Friday is unusual as you are overloaded with work. Now, being in India how will you know about the British summer time? The writing style needs some improvement while the language needs some refinement.

Review of I Hate
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
The poem illustrates the self -hatred which the individual has nurtured within himself due to a combination of events. But still he feels affection for his mother who is an important support for him. From the second stanza it is deduced that the relationship with other family members is faltering and fragile. However, it is interesting to consider the affection which he has developed with his dogs which are faithful. The last stanza puts more emphasis on this disdain which turns into an obsession.

A poem evocative of death as relief from worldly sufferings. If a person has been living in darkness does he expect to see light in the above world? Obviously it depends on his mode of life on the earth. filled with emotions the lines make the reader become emotional.Very realistic observation'dead to this world full of agonies' The individual seems to have been suffering throughout his life and moreover with nobody to care for him. After his departure from this world no one seems to be affected.

The poem reflects a solemn appeal to a beloved one not to depart from his /her life. The presence of that dear person symbolises the very existence of the human being. There is good rhyming between the sonnets typical of the Shakespearean style. The line' A rose, a ring' implies how madly the lover is encrusted in that amour. He /she has become a patient suffering from heart disease.

Review of Sleepless

Your poem illustrates the sufferings as a consequence of insomnia. It must be very painful to have a sleepless night. Most of us like to fall asleep as soon as we go to bed but sometimes sleep remains a thousand miles away. Turning left, turning right but it is still night. Who can call sleep for me? The impacts of insomnia are greatly felt on the following day. It has serious repercussions on health.

Your poem is based on the appearance of different insects with the approach of summer. You have put emphasis on bugs which are nuisances to human beings. This is counter balanced with the presentation of other insects like bees, ants and dragonflies. Every insect plays its role to make the world turn round. It is interesting to note that you have underlined the importance of each category

A very pathetic story about Esmeralda missing extremely her lost brother. The bond was so strong that she cannot resist her brother's absence. Feeling depressed she loses interest in life. It depicts to what extent she was attached to him. Indeed at the beginning it is very difficult to forget a dear one. However, the show must go on. Some people depart making room for others. The letter from her brother was reassuring and she was convinced to continue her way in life.

Review of Our Lady of Sin
Review by Boz

The poem evokes how our destiny is programmed before our birth. God is referred to as the grandest designer. Some are born man while others are animals. Here, the poet cites examples of the cattle and the sheep. Both are destined for slaughter. Their death lie in the hands of the butcher. The poor animals have no choice than to accept their lot. But who is the lady of sin?

Your story about the person with Alzheimer who drew attention on the poem before his death is realistic. His principal objective was to shed light on what he accomplished even if he was suffering from the disease. His idea of inspiration should be considered as a great message for those people who want to achieve something in life. It seems that the award' most inspirational man' has motivated you to orientate you towards your target in life. It was the turning point for you

Review of Dulcet tunes
Review by Boz

It seems to be a new form of writing which can also be sung. As regards the poem itself it illustrates a cheerful environment with the chirping of the cuckoo. Indeed it must be a melodious voice sounding good to the ears. The listener is mesmerized by that song. The poet is entranced by the song of the bird. In fact, it suits well for the poem which transforms into a song.

The poem illustrates the journey of the Unknown soldier buried with great respect and pomp. Although nobody knows him he is cherished and remembered by all. The Queen also pays reverence to him for his loyalty and patriotism. He is the son of the country who has staked his life for the freedom of the nation. But, being aloof from his family only his souvenirs are present.

Review of Depression
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
It's a good analysis about depression. With the advancement of modern technology and the continuously demanding inputs at work many people are prone to this disease. It is an ailment which gnaws the patient gradually leaving just a soul in the body. He/she becomes a living corpse. Although there is no radical treatment about it yet many steps can be taken towards prevention. Physical exercises, yoga and meditation are a few therapies which can help to overcome it. One of the most important aspect is positive thinking. However, whether we believe it or not all of us have gone through this malady some time or other. But the main idea is to maintain it under control.
