Title: Definitely fit the poem, so it works well!!
Description: Let's the reader know what they're getting into! *Wink* It gives the insight that a description should give and, I feel, intrigues the reader to know how you turned it into a poem.
Idea: Unfortunately, this poem is much to true. Presented with hysterical thoughts and worded wonderfully, I feel you did an amazing job presenting the thought to your readers!
Emotion: This poem really isn't the emotional kind, but it does have it's own emotions...The thoughts expressed allow the reader to feel sick of what the world has become (in this aspect), and also to laugh about it.
Imagery: Headlines and News stories flash through the reader's mind as they read the words ...proving how just true this poem is.
Form: The ABCB form really kept everything flowing and allows the reader to read it with a light-heartedness.
Rhyme: No rhyme seemed struggled with or "off," so this was just one more thing that made this poem so wonderful!
Spelling/Typos: I didn't notice any.
Punctuation: One more thing that makes this poem great!
Ending: Ties everything together nicely and does not seem to cut the poem short, so another wonderful job!
Colors: N/A
Suggestions: I have none!
Overall: If you can't tell by now, I shouldn't really tell you...but, I loved this poem! It was fun to read and had me laughing at the world! You did a splendid job writing this!

Just...wow! You manage to say so much with so few words and really get a lot of feeling into each line. Anyone who reads this poem will be touched.

I'm not really sure what else I can say? You wrote this beautifully and it's incredibly touching! I never thought an 8-lined poem could be so profound!

I loved reading this poem! You manage to say quite a lot with such a small amount of words! You did a wonderful job writing this!

Good Points:
Everything flowed wonderfully from beginning to end!
The wording you chose added in making this poem very enchanting!
The imagery and creativity is simply wonderful throughout this poem! Not only can the reader feel the enchantment, but, the reader can see everything that is happening (I could)!

Suggestions:
Grammar: Just a bit of punctuation needed.
Emotion: Nothing missing, nothing more needed! This poem is wonderful!!

Thank you for sharing this poem! I love it!!

This is a beautifully written piece that tell an incredibly emotional tale!

Grammatically, I found no errors.

Emotionally, you make your reader not only feel and see your words, but you manage to take them to where it's all happening (which, as I read, changed a bit for me from beginning to end..hehe).

And the ending was great! Didn't really see it coming -until I noticed the foreshadowing during my second read.

You did a wonderful job writing this!! Thank you for sharing this! Keep writing!

Not exactly what I was expecting and very different from normal reading, I enjoyed this story very much. It is well written (I did not find any typo's or grammar mistakes) and quite unpredictable, which I truly love!!

This short story is written in such a way that the reader gets attached to the characters quickly and feels for them right away.

Wonderfully written! I look forward to reading more of your works.

Review of Open and True

Title: This title made me think that this would be another love poem and, at first, I almost passed it by. But, as I read, this title became a perfect compliment to the poem and fit the poem wonderfully!
Description: The description is what really dragged me in. Knowing that this was written for your fellow artists gave the title a new meaning. It made me need to know your feelings toward or for those fellow artists.
Idea: This poem is perfect for this website! I'm quite sure that everyone and anyone on this website agrees with every word and can relate 100% to each and every line!
Emotion: This poem draws a lot of emotion from its reader ...As I read it, I could feel what you were saying, but your words also forced me to reflect on my own experience(s) with writing, which helped to emphasize the feelings suggested throughout the poem.
Imagery: I think the imagery is wonderful, since, (in my opinion) it makes the reader picture themself sitting there and working on a writing.
Form: The chosen form worked well to keep the poem flowing wonderfully from beginning to end!
Rhyme: No rhyme read as though it had been struggled with! Nor did any rhyme seem out of place. Wonderful job with that!!
Spelling/Typos: Line 1: responce/ response.
Punctuation: I didn't notice any errors here.
Ending: Gives that final emotion that makes the reader sit for a moment to reflect upon what they've just read, which is amazing!
Colors: N/A
Suggestions: none!
Overall: I loved this poem! It was wonderfully easy to relate to and beautifully written! What more could I truly say? Just...wonderful!! Thank you for sharing this!

Review of On Angel's Breath

{c}Title: This title definitely fits the poem and, I think, is an immediate eye-catcher! It's a very touching phrase, very touching title. It drew me in right away.
{c}Description: This description gives insight into the poem and its meaning as well as warning (for lack of a better word) the reader that this poem is going to be touching and, most likely, a tear-jerker...
{c}Idea: As suggested by the description, the story that this poem tells is incredibly touching. There are really no words to explain how touching a tale this is...
{c}Emotion: Not only can a reader feel for the people in the poem, but because of some of the more sensitive details (I'm sure you know what I mean --If not, read it! lol), it draws even more emotion straight from the reader. Just in case I haven't said this enough...This poem is just incredibly touching!
{c}Imagery: I think, while reading this, each reader will have their own individual images flashing through their mind, which I love! It makes this poem not only touching, but also very easy to relate to.
{c}Form: The AABB rhyme scheme worked well wih your words. You managed to rhyme the lines without any rhyme seeming like it was stuggled over or without losing any of the feeling. It flowed so well that I am amazed!
{c}Rhyme: I think I just covered that. lol.
{c}Spelling/Typos: I didn't see any.
{c}Punctuation: A few punctuation marks are missing.
{c}Ending: Enchanting and beautifully written! Left me with a feeling of hope....
{c}Colors: Personally, I don't like the color you chose. To me, it obstructed the ambience of this poem. It's a depressing color, I think...Reminds me of blood and I don't want to think of blood while reading this poem. That's just too sad. (In my opinion...)
{c}Suggestions: The color and punctuation...I think the poem would read better with some kind of punctuation at the ends of line 2, 7, and 8)...and, I think, maybe a comma before but in line 6?
{c}Overall: A beautifully touching tale. And a real tear-jerker! I don't really know what else I can say! It's all just..beautiful!

{c}Title: Definitely caught my attention right away. This is another title that piques readers' interests by having so many possibilities.
{c}Description: I think it would draw more readers in if you added a line from the poem or some kind of teaser. (Up to you, lol, the title was enough to draw me in).
{c}Idea: This poem is another that can be interpreted in a lot of different ways. I love that you write in such a way that any reader can be reminded of something is his/her own life.
{c}Emotion: Much of the contents of this poem can be very easily "changed" to allow the reader to find situations from his/her own past to help him/her easily relate to this poem --which helps in understanding the feelings found within the poem and also drags feeling from the reader, creating a much more personal level of emotion.
{c}Imagery: Each of my senses came into play during the reading of this poem. The simplicity of language and sentence structure, I feel, makes it simple for anyone to see, hear, feel, smell (especially at the sight of the word "zoo") --okay, so no taste (lol) --what they are reading. I can only imagine how lifelike each line woul dbe if read to someone whose eyes are closed! Of the imagery, all I can really say is that it makes this poem truly enchanting!
{c}Form: This is yet another poem of yours that gives a perfect example of how free verse form can make a poem simple to understand and feel. The absence of structure worked perfectly with your words!
{c}Rhyme: N/A
{c}Spelling/Typos: I did not see any.
{c}Punctuation: I cannot find even one place where you did not choose the ideal punctuation!
{c}Ending: To me, this ending carried on the enchantment and was very powerful. Whether it was from awe or sheer emotion, this ending made me pause for a minute (or two) just to think and reflect.
{c}Colors: N/A
{c}Suggestions: I have but one suggestion: Don't change a thing!
{c}Overall: What more can I really say? This poem was beautiful, powerful, and enchanting!! This is one of few poems that I could read over and over without getting tired of it! I truly love it!

A beautiful tribute to a lost friend. The wording is jsut simply beautiful and made the emotion throughout the poem clear for the reader to feel. I think this poem could bring a tear to anyone eye. It is just beautiful...I don't know what else I could say about this piece. It made me think about people I've known that have passed away and definitely brought on a lot of feelings.

In line 11, however, there is a misspelling: existance/ existence.

Other than that, this poem is simply beautiful! I loved it and thank you for baring your feelings and sharing this with us.

This poem is well written and incredibly touching! Anyone that is in love or in a relationship could definitely relate to this. As I read it, it definitely struck a chord in my heart that few peoms do. Of course, I immediately thought of my boyfriend and could only smile and start thinking about how we met and when we were only strangers.

Everything flowed wonderfully and the rhymes did not feel forced, which always amazes me. *Bigsmile* You manage to keep the same tone throughout the poem (for me, it was a dreamy, romantic, cloud 9 feeling) and there is not one point at which I had to stop or where I got caught up on something.

Just...beautiful!

Thank you for entering "Invalid Item and Good Luck!

I had to check out your portfolio and I'm glad that I did! This is another poem that really caught me. Another poem that I could relate to (on a few levels). This poem seemed a bit Jim Morrison-esque almost, which could be another reason that I've fallen in love with it.

You truly do a beautiful job of bringing your reader to feel each and every word and line. I feel, too, like you almost force the reader to be able to relate to your words. The way you've worded this poem, I think, really forces the reader to think about their feelings and subconciously, find a way to relate to this poem.

I really do not know what else to say about this poem. It's just a truly beautiful poem!

This is a beautifully written, wonderfully flowing poem that truly captivated me! It's easy to relate to a lot of poems, but this one really seemed to say the thoughts in my head that I have not been able to get out. Everything about this poem is just beautiful! This is definitely a poem that not only gives insight into the author's mind and life, but makes the reader reflect on his or her own mind and life.

Truly beautiful job! Thank you for sharing this!!

I love the idea of this poem and the message of it. It's very touching and something that I could relate to. I love the wording you chose, most of the lines are very original, which I love! (i.e. "morphed into seas").

The only suggestions I have are: punctuation, and I think a typo in the last line of the second staza (glared/glares?), it seems like a change of tense to me, but it could just be me.

All in all, a beautiful poem! Thank you for sharing it!

Very enchanting! --And refreshing (It's so hot I'm praying for some rain!!!). I love storms, so this was right up my alley. I love, however, that you took something most people think of as negative and made it so positive and peaceful. Definitely a wonderful poem for anyone that jumps at the sound of thunder! (Good for children too, in my opinion!!)

Beautiful!! The picture is a beautiful image that I think is very inspirational to look at. I can't imagine how inspirational it must have been to actually see the scene taking place!!

The haiku, as well, is just simply beautiful! It really describes that picture and takes the reader to sitting there watching the fish. It's all so very peaceful.

Thank you for sharing!

I like this poem a lot. It is well written and the repitition of "Behind these blue eyes" did not distract me, but flowed well each time. *bigmsile*

The only suggestions I can come up with is to add to this one. I think it would benefit from being longer. I guess it just did not feel complete when I got to the end...That, and the tears/rain thing...we're all guilty of writing something about tears falling like rain, or tears being rain, or tears raining and, to me, it takes away from the emotion. I'm sorry. I don't mean to sound mean or anything, it is only a suggestion. I've had plenty of people tell me about similar lines. We all use those lines.

Other than that, (which I feel guilty about...thanks *Pthb* ) it's truly a beautiful poem! I love the way its written and what it says. I could feel it and relate to it.

Review of Destiny? Doom!!!
Review by Stephanie Grace
Rated: ASR | (4.5)
Amazingly written! Everything flowed so nicely from beginning to end --without anything seeming forced or wandering away from the format used (D to start each line, plus a rhyme scheme). I can't imagine being able to write something with this challenge and have it flow so effortlessly! (Or read that way at least. .lol.). Truly, a beautiful poem with what I think is a good message...this is where we are heading if we don't change.

The only things that caught my attention were typos in lines 14 and 16. Line 14: dismise. Line 16: dilema.

Truly, a wonderful poem and I thank you for sharing it with us! *Bigsmile*

Title: Fits the poem and caught my attention.
Idea: A very serene image displayed beautifully!
Emotion: I can't really say that there was a lot of "emotion" in this poem, but there was definitely a peaceful feeling while reading this.
Grammar: In the second line of the last stanza, the comma threw me off. It breaks up the sentence and interrupts the flow of the poem.
Ending: One last serene image and feeling of peace.
Favorite Line: "Early morning light
sifts down through the trees." --beautifully descriptive.
Suggestions: none.
Final Thoughts: Beautiful poem! I very much enjoyed reading it! You definitely displayed a wonderufl talent for bringing your reader to see and feel your words. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your poem.

Title: Caught my attention and, obviously fit the poem. (I'm sure it didn't hurt that my name is Stephanie. lol)
Idea: Very touching and reminded me much of myself at some points in life. It's a very beautiful dedication.
Emotion: Your emotion really came through your words. You definitely brought your reader to understand how "Steph" feels, and also how much you care about her.
Grammar: Just needs a bit of punctuation.
Ending: You definitely gave this poem the right ending. Everything flowed right into it and it tied everything together without feel like you cut the poem too short.
Favorite Line: her feelings hurt at the drop of a vail --it struck a chord inside of me.
Suggestions: Third stanza, First line...typo: cryies should be cries.
Final Thoughts: Very well written and touching. I enjoyed reading this and thank you for sharing it. Steph is very lucky to have a friend like you.

Review of Mine
Review by Stephanie Grace

Title: Suiting title. I like that it didn't tell too much about the poem, that there were a lot of possibilities of what it meant.
Style: The style you used kept everything flowing nicely and made each and every line stick in my mind a little longer. It made each line feel like its own statement with its own point. Wonderful job!
Central Idea: I love the idea behind this, the message it gave and the feeling I got reading it. Very empowering and beautifully written. It's a poem that I think all of us can relate to and treasure.
Ending: Everything flowed nicely into the ending and then the ending gave that final stab of power. Definitely an ending that made me sit and think for a moment.
Favorite Line: This was a very tough choice. Taking one line out of this poem really makes the line lose a little bit of power, but "If I close my eyes against the pain" really struck a chord in me.
Suggestions: none.
Final Thoughts: Thank you for sharing this. I loved reading it and am very pleased that it was not a whiny poem and wanted to control your own life, but a true declaration of your life belonging to you. Definitely the perfect poem for me to have read today. I needed it. Thank you.
