An interesting letter and yes people do this all the time. Like for instance fashion as soon as it's on the cat walk usually not far on it's in the shops as a fake.
DVDS or Films or Music and At a writing class the other day a resipient at the class was taking notes as we read out little pieces from our notes. For instance I said:
As snug as a mouse in a snakes stomach
As tight as a nylon stocking on a bank robbers face
Immediately they were written done and... Oh thats a good one
It is something that babies do they imitate their parents and adults imitate other peoples work.
It makes me wonder at the back of my mind...

I didn't quite know what to call you. Anyway your poem/story of (The Amazingful Birthday Isle)
I am no expert as most of us are learning on this sight and I have learned quite a bit in a short time which has helped me immensely in my writing career.

I can see the children crossing the water all sat on Angels cupped wings making their way to birtday Isle their faces smiling broadly and filling up with angel dust that magic potion that makes the day sparkle with lasting child hood memories...
On the Island a wonderland of fun for all and with good illustrations this could be a hit

Then see the pure white paper as a canvas... and you are the painter... now start to paint...as you paint your stories on the canvas realise that your mind is unique and that your imagination can take you anywhere you want to go... and when you have written a piece that you want to let others see ...then press the send key and wait...

I have just read your lovely and so true to life story. I saw our planet and our people in this... and our God. He has set rules in motion and we can see the laid back or tomorrow of the childrens attitude and the parents prayers. The polution on the planet and disrespect for those who work the land. Most people think food comes in a packet. The Father Tavnor was so faithful he reminded me of Noah and Moses and of course our Lord.
A good story and warning of the impact of what happens when we ignore the truth.
Ivy I read your lovely poem and it made me cry. I know that it was put together with love just like that old sweater you knitted for your husband.Those songs will stir a heart of remembrances of days gone by when you didn't think of not being without the other part that made you whole. We touch memories every day in our minds. The suddenly... comes and like a shattered treasure life changes.
Time takes care of pain and loss but hope helps us to go forward and faith keeps us strong... Survivers in all circumstances.
I put on our favorite music the other day and danced with my husband in the middle of the room. We held each other tight...smiled and cried together. I put my feet on top of his and we were one for a moment. Silly woman I thought... But no it was a special moment.
Autumn was when i went shoping for grocery's i kissed him on the cheek and said I wouldn't be long and bring his dinner home.
On arriving home... my husband was on the floor and my life shattered. he was three days intensive care and never came round he gave his kidneys and liver to three men who went home to their grand children
he had a massive brain heamhoridge.
My prayer for you is that god will supply all your needs. You are a lovely lady and a beautiful writer.

Well that wis a wee bit hard ti tak. Bit it the ony way ti gi the man a new start in life.
It's a sad world when men can't get work it does something to them and then the deppression sets in and the habit of why bother.
Perhaps Allen got what he needed ...A good kickn to bring him to his sences.
Sometyimes we all need a shove to change direction.
The steps of hope may take a few stumbles but success is not far away.

Maybe I got it wrong but... A beautiful poem and story of the hidden treasures that are stored away in the attic only to be revealed one day in dust and decay.
Unless a seed fall to the ground and die. It will never live...
The treasure I see here is the one that will never be seen if only by our imaginations the diamond tears are keys to a passage into the heart of the grandmother who holds beautiful memories that will never unfold of a first love that had to be put into a corner of her heart lest she would never have gone on and married dear Harry a very special man...
Travel through life avoiding strife...the motto is to thine own self be true :)
Positive thinking will keep us afloat and we wont despair unnecessarily.
Suvive in all circumstances rejoice.

Whaawo! what deepness your character has. She has been to the depth and is now crying out to be set free. The lord has heard the cries in the dark and given you a tool to get her out ... your writing is I believe going to take you to sunshine and green fields and blue skies and fresh air in your lungs, most of all hope for a future that you will decide at the crossroads of every new day in your characters life

I have just read your poem and found it reflective and true. Some people treasure things rather than the treasures of a friend or a relative or the moments that we can find in our own lifes to treasue The birthday surprise; a long time school friend, a childs birth and first cry... first words... A death of some one we loved and God a day is like a thousand years and the hairs on our heads are even counted.
Every one of us are special to him who created us.

Jaye you must have got to the stage of success as I see you have been on the sight for a long time. I enjoyed the little story and can under stand that we all want instant success but I believe that comes with perseverance ans dedication. It's like anything we do unless we keep at it and learn the craft from others and keep writng then the success that we yearn for will never come
