I came across this piece and I was curious. I want to thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and beautiful letter. I know it's hard to be the friend trying to make the other see. Wow! This is truly a great story. I have enjoyed reading it. Reminding me that I had been near the end of my rope once in a relationship. I never cut myself and he wasn't a drinker. Simply a jerk, but I won't go there. I wish her luck and pray she makes it through. It took great strength for her to run out and not turn back.
The only thing I would recommend is spacing out the paragraphs, makes it a little easier to read, they don't run together as they do without the spaces.
