You are what you write. Illusion and Reality...I reside in between. Where are you?
UNDERSTAND THAT REDIRECTING CIVILIZATION is a major undertaking. You can write volumes about it and who will listen? But the energy that goes for that purpose cannot be withdrawn. You know that.

Blog CityPrompt: You just met your Doppleganger. {Person who looks exactly like you.} What happens next?

At that particular moment I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the salt water off the deck of my boat. I heard a sort of familiar voice ask rather rudly, "Excuse me, can you tell me where I can find this person called Iguana Mountain?"

Of course, I only use that handle on my blog so I figured it must be someone who reads blogs. Laughing, I dumped my brush in the water pail, saying, "Where'd you hear that?"

Looking up, I froze. There was this rather attractive older man, looking impatient. What shocked me is the feeling I had just looked into a mirror. This man, although much better dressed, looked just like me!

Upon viewing my face, the man's jaw dropped."What..."

Then we both stared, unbelieving at each other. I stood up slowly. "I'm sometimes called, Iguana Mountain." My mind raced with speculations. Is this a dream? Could this guy be a long-lost twin? Is there something my parents didn't tell me?"

"You say, you are Iguana Mountain?" he asked.

"Only on my blog. Did you read it there?" I noted his dress shoes, tailored slacks, the yachting symbol on his sport shirt.

"Definitely not. I do not read blogs. Someone in London said I should look you up. That I'd be surprised. Well, I am."

I laughed. "Not more than I am!"

"You don't understand. My corporation is Iguana Mountain Inc."

Coincidence? Scam? I had no idea. He didn't seem very friendly. I made the offer, hoping he'd tell me more. "Then I think we should sit down and puzzle this out."

"I agree," he said with a serious face. "I can't imagine how you could exist." We have the same hair and eyes. You look to be the same size as I am. I cannot believe this."

"Let me change. I'll just be a minute." I hurried to the aft entrance of my boat. "We can go over to the marina restaurant," I called before starting down the steps.

I heard him say, "No, my yacht is waiting lunch!"

As I pulled on a clean t-shirt, I thought, What happens when you meet your Doppe[ganger? I guess I'm going to find out. This could be very interesting.

And I'm not telling...>>>iggy*Boat*

If your life flashed before your eyes, what are 5 moments you know would be included? Bonus points to the monthly blogging if you tie this in with Halloween.

1. Earliest memory (maybe 10 mos. old) Oil-stove chimney breaks and huge flakes of black soot fall from aove. I reach for them.

2. Crossing the railroad bridge above the flooding river to cross the highway for the school bus. (8 years old)

3. (Censored) Blush...

4. Dancing solo for UC Chancellor inaguration ceremony. All the colleges and universities were there.

5. My Australian-Dingo Shepherd died in my arms after 15 years together.

Actually this could be an endless list. Halloween never seemed significant, so nothing there. Most things if they flashed before my mind's eye would be too personal to ever put on a list.

I find this an uncomfortable exercise. We live in the NOW, not the past and not in the future.

Peace...>>>iggy*Boat*

BLOG CITY Prompt: Unique Family Traditions: Do you have any or do you know of one done by another family. Do you feel tradition is important?

I believe that tradition is one of the most important practices that bind a family together. Especially in our society where grown offspring tend to scatter around the country and around the world. The sad part is that with the death of grandparents, many of the traditions are compromised, overlooked, and eventually forgotten by the third generation.

As a young college student, I remember many long flights (in small twin-engine passenger planes) back to Wyoming for Christmas. Families had to be together for that holiday. And at the university we always had a Thanksgiving dinner (sort of pot-luck) for all the students who couldn't go home.

Years pass and where ever one is, Christmas is always celebrated. When I was in Iran, we always had both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and lots of guests. Muslims like turkey and dressing too. The stores in the north parts of Tehran featured Christmas decorations and some trees.Their focus is more on the birth of the Prophet Jesus.

In Belize they follow the States and are already hinting about gift shopping. I think the Xmas 'commercial' Season starts the day after Halloween.

I fear that 'Family Traditions' have been taken over by corporate commercial interests. (for the god of profit) Now we refer to those wonderful past times as THE GOOD OLD DAYS!

Always remember..>>>iggy*Boat*

Blog City Prompt: Let's talk about personalities. I am told there are 3 specific types:

I must disagree. I believe in the horoscope of twelve sun signs. I am a Virgo and that fits my personality type exactly. Think about when you were born:

ARIES - Mar 21 - Apr 19
TAURUS - Apr 20 - May 20
GEMINI - May 21 - Jun 20
CANCER - June 21 - Jul 22
LEO - Jul 23 - Aug 22
VIRGO - Aug 23 - Sep 22
LIBRA - Sep 23 - Oct 22
SCORPIO - Oct 23 - Nov 21
SAGITARIUS - Nov 22 - Dec 21
CAPRICORN - Dec 22 - Jan 19
AQUARIUS - Jan 20 - Feb 18
PISCES - Feb 19 - Mar 20

There is so much written about sun signs. Astrology based upon your sun sign is a generalized outline of your individual astrological characteristics. Of course, it is much more complicated than just when you were born. Research and learn. I like thehoroscopejunkie.ca

Right now we're in the month of Scorpio. Emotion rules Scorpio. They are passionate about everything they become involved in. In love they are very affectionate and loyal but also demanding and possessive. Do you know anyone like that?

Have fun...>>>iggy*Boat*

Blog City Prompt: George and Martha Washington arrive at your home. What happens next?

If George and Martha showed up at my door, I'm not sure I'd let them inside. I'd just reach for the big dish of candy by the door full of candy-corn and M&Ms. Offer each a handful and wish them, "Happy Halloween." I would definately compliment their costumes and warn them about the English couple next door who might not answer their door, especially to adults.

Peace...>>>iggy*Boat*

Blog City Prompt: What do you look forward to every week?

ON WDC: Receiving new in-depth reviews for my book, Apex Project.
Blog Prompts that inspire me to write a blog entry.
A surprise review.

AT THE MARINA:
Easterly winds that blow the bugs away.
Glorious sunshine.
Fried rice and sweet&sour chicken.
A visit from friends.
That the dryer works in the laundry room.

IN THE WORLD:
That the media would report the truth.
That my Wi-Fi signal would work and actually connect to the Internet.

Peace...(that goes without saying!) >>>iggy*Boat*

BLOG CITY Prompt: If all tablets and smart phones ceased working, how much impact would this have on your daily life and routines.

I have a Nexus-7 Google tablet, which I love. It is my library. I have hundreds of books archived. Plus I have Kindle and all that access. I don't have games, just document management and creation. My art portfolio is is ready to show and there are many hundreds of photos. THIS WOULD BE A TERRIBLE LOSS.

However, I have a Acer One net-book that has duplicates of everything plus all my WDC work. I do all my writing on the Acer. And all of that is on a tiny SSD card and duplicated on a USB stick. I am prepared for everything except total electronic failure.

We depend so much on electronic media and devices. But living in Belize, I do not have television and only use wireless Internet, which has low bandwidth. Rarely can see U-Tube or any video news. Everything is slow loading. They call it a relaxed life-style.

I gave up carrying all that paper. Airline weight limits do not allow it, plus dragging those cases around is not fun. Of course, if all else fails, paper and pencils are a wonderful solution. You know, back to ancient times!

Peace...>>>iggy*Boat*

BLOG CITY Prompt: Annoying Habits: yours, a loved one's or just one that drives you bonkers.

What drives me bonkers are people that say, "Sure, I can do that." And then you find out they know nothing about that job or skill. Or they show up and say, "Can I borrow a shovel?" (or a hammer, or a screwdriver) Professional people have their own tools.

Of then there are the film actors who manipulate their day-work into several days by 'accidentally' messing up the shot, over and over again. They do well in the first take with the star so any retakes with another bit-player would cost money. Then they do their slow down on their individual scenes or actions. Better paycheck for them.

The other thing are people who own dogs that are left alone on a chain or in a kennel pen. Every day, all day and night the animal is essentially abandoned except for food and water. They are supposed to guard and scare thieves. I've seen dogs live years in this situation. They of course become paranoid and psychotic, barking at everything and nothing.

That drives me bonkers.

Have a bonkerless day! >>>iggy

Blog City Prompt: Orange is a color that people either hate or love: tell us how you feel about it.

Orange is a very uncomfortable color for me. I'm a white(colorless) blonde and my color is blue. Orange is for fruit and flowers. Orange is for haz-mat suits for handling that E-disease they are all talking about.

Interesting...last night and this morning the headline news about the quarantined passenger on the cruise ship. Since I live on a boat in the marina at Belize City, we heard the radio calls asking why the cruise ship did not leave last night. Fortunately the city refused any transfer to the airport as this tiny country does not have the protective capabilities to handle such a serious situation. This morning the nation is alive with ideas to get better prepared

This I would call an 'Orange Alert'. This is terrible news for the cruise industry and the Belize tourist facilities, which is a large portion.of this county's income. The ripples of alarm are swirling around to join all the other waves of speculation.

Peace with great caution...>>>iggy*Boat*

Blog CityPrompt: You are making a magic brew. What does it do?

This is not really magic, but the results are magical
because I value my health and well-being.
You could call it magic based on science.

Every morning for years I have been making a blender shake that maintains my PH level above 7.5. Now if you don't know or understand about PH factors, do some research. It should be the first information in a health-education class. Sadly it is often omitted since healthy humans are not profitable.

The holistic bodily system that pulls us all together and keeps us healthy and functioning optimally is not a system at all, or even a concept -- it's our blood pH. When the pH is balanced, the body is healthy. Most disease states can't exist when the body's pH is alkaline. Bacteria, viruses and fungi can't reproduce. So what's a body full of fast foods, drugs, GMOs, and non-organic food to do?

For me, that alkaline thing is all important. My magic blender shake consists of an apple, a banana, the juice of a lime or lemon, a small amount of papaya, about a cup of fresh pineapple, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of powered whole milk, very cold water or mix with ice. The drink is blended until smooth. Why? These are readily available items that all push the body into an alkaline state, plus all the additional benefits the fresh items contain. Blended, they are easily assimilated.

Just the essentials are:

APPLES: Compared to other commonly consumed fruits in the US, apples ranked second for highest antioxidant activity. However, they ranked highest for the proportion of free phenolic compounds, which means they are not bound to other compounds in the fruit and therefore may be more easily absorbed into your bloodstream.

BANANAS: Bananas have an antacid effect and are said to protect against stomach ulcers. They contain a compound called as protease inhibitor which protects the stomach from unfriendly bacteria which cause stomach or gastrointestinal disturbances. They are a good source of potassium and magnesium which aid in maintaining normal blood pressure and are heart protective

LEMON OR LIME: helps to clear the body of excess acids and create an alkaline-forming state in the body as it is buffered. The higher or more alkaline your pH, the more your inner terrain is resistant to minor and major disease.

PAPAYA: Papayas are an excellent source of vitamin C. Papayas are a good source of folate, vitamin A, magnesium, copper, pantothenic acid and fiber. They also have B vitamins, alpha and beta carotene, lutein and zeaxanthan, vitamin E, calcium, potassium, vitamin K and lycopene, the powerful antioxidant most commonly associated with tomatoes.

PINEAPPLE: An excellent source of Vitamin C and other antioxidants essential for collagen synthesis, Vitamin C also helps to maintain the integrity of your blood vessels, skin, organs and bones. Increasing your daily intake of antioxidants is also great for boosting your immune system, which means you’ll be able to fight off colds and flu during winter.

BAKING SODA: According to the American Cancer Society, sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) is used as a conventional treatment for disorders in which the blood is too acidic. Fungal spores will not germinate as long as the pH of their surrounding environment is sufficiently alkaline. It is acidic environments that allow fungi to flourish.

POWDERED WHOLE MILK: Most adults drink very little milk. As I became older I needed the calcium for my old bones. I sometimes add plain white yogurt if it has no sugar.

The magic is really complete when I can I drink my shake sitting outside in the sunshine. And maybe no more than fifteen or twenty minutes. The suntan is not important, but the vitamin D is essential. A robust and growing body of research clearly shows that vitamin D is absolutely critical for good health and disease prevention. This is science, not magic. Truly we are bound to the sunlight just as plants.

If you don't know about these facts about your own personal biochemistry, you are missing an important part of being a living human. Pure health is magic!

Happy day! >>>iggy*Boat*
