Characters of different classes

Yanla, the human priestess going along with you, has a personality that can be best politely described as “bubbly.” Mind you, she is as dedicated priestess of Avida as one could hope for. But sometimes your more sardonic remarks sail right over her head.

Joining you are Enrik Doubleedge, a dwarven Axeman who, when released on a battlefield in his spiked armor, is a destructive nigh unstoppable force.

Then there is Kitya, a female Bayata Doduggwa. Bayata are generally human in appearance, but have shell like ears, line markings on their necks and shoulders, and tuftless leonine tails. Bayatas are East Asian in appearance, and are unusually agile and dexterous. Bayatas are natural explorers. Doduggwa are a class that combines aspects of a common thief, an acrobat, a rock climber and a Shaolin monk.

Misten, Kitya’s younger sister (by a year) is a scribe, a practitioner of magic who specializes in the writing and reading of spells.

Finally, there is Eteran, a human male who is the only non-novice in your adventuring party. Eteran is in his late thirties and is a twenty year veteran in the Royal Army. In the Army Eteran was a Strider. Striders serve as the elite scouts of the Royal Army. They are trained to “live off the land” regardless of the terrain. A Strider received special training from the various nonhumans who live in the Kingdom. A Strider is more than adequate with the sword, but he’s a demon with the bow.
