I like to read novels and biographies, so if I can review them at the same time, why not. My ratings are usually at the high end because I think if someone has taken the time and effort to write a large piece, it is an achievement. The review will give the opportunity to flag up typographic errors. I do not mark down ratings for these errors because they are easily fixed.

I didn't see that coming and I should have because all the clues were there earlier in the story. As this part continues past the initial surprise, our heroine seems to become confused by the revelations that all her friends may not be what they seem. This is a good part and gives the reader plenty of scope to wonder what happens to prove the information right or wrong. One hiccup on my part: There are so many characters in this long story and I have forgotten who Nathalit is.

I did the review on the wrong part, 80, but copied it to 79. In this part (part79) we see the birth of the wolf-like twins. Although demons, the story follows through the lead up and the birth as a normal human type birth. Well-penned and I am sure it will be an interest to a lot of folk.

Our heroine is in a bit of despair as the heath of one of the main characters continues to deteriorate. No fighting in this part but still a lot of suspense and emotional thoughts. A good part of the story written to the usual high standard expected. No errors or typo's noticed and a reasonable ending to prompt the reader forward.

A light-hearted and entertaining part. It is a good thing to create chapters so the reader gets plenty of action and suspense. But just as important to give a break and show some humour, although Charmian does not see the funny side as much as the reader. A favourite part and no errors or typo's noticed.

I must admit I am starting to get overwhelmed and a bit confused. I am still enjoying the story though.

A few things going on in this part and an interesting read.

This is another good part. It is extra good if the reader has read the story from the start as things start falling into place. Some answers are revealed to the reader. But at the end of the part, Charmian asks herself many questions which in turn prompts the reader to ask them as well. Where do we go from here is one? Only way to find out, of course, is to read on.

Plenty of action and suspense in this part. Charmian is becoming more skillful in the powers that will help her on her quest. It is hard to imagine, I think, that she is only fourteen years old as she seems to act more mature, but that is a minor point in this fantasy story. A good last few lines, as usual.

Still enjoying your great story, even though I get confused sometimes. Might be an age thing.

Not my favorite part. I seem to be losing my way a bit, but the good bits are very good.

As I see it, and I could be wrong. This is a serial and therefore not a novel as it seems that there are lots of small adventures grouped together as we head towards the final act. As if every part/chapter is a story within itself but linked through a few main characters. We have had the training with Moon Wolf and now we have some extra training which will advance Charmian’s skills to complete her quest. This part was interesting, as usual, but she seems to be developing an attitude as the time goes on.

Following the fall, Charmian was saved from at best multiple fractures and at worst death, by the lost spirits, I think. Also an old friend Stick In The Dirt turns up from the earlier chapters. This is another good interesting read but I must say, the giant talking rabbit threw me a bit. I am sure I will soon get used to it though. No typo's or errors noticed.

I can't see how Sikt turned into Sikt-Justine. It either has not been explained or I missed something. Anyway, we are right back into the action parts of the serial and Charmian seems to go from once scrape to another. I wonder how she can escape from her latest encounter but will surely need help?

This part starts and ends with good descriptive action. It is a well thought out serial part that includes a pursuit by Charmian ending in a meeting that does not go too well. The unknown beast that attacks at the end could be the one that attacked the demon in his cave. This is one of my many favourite chapters in this story. Well-written and in my view, faultless.

A good read again with a bit of action. I can't see why the GeeBee doesn't attack Chapi though.

A good well-written chapter. It starts off with interest but although I have been okay with the dream scenes up until now, the dreams part in this chapter seems difficult for me to understand. Later we get information about Simon and the necklace, which is a good piece. No errors noticed though and as usual, a good hook at the end.

Part sixty-five and the story still retains my interest. This part sees the group of characters set off on a quest for the benefit, I think, of Red Bird. When they get to their destination Red Bird makes a strange discovery which leads the reader into yet another very good hook ending. The writing remains very good and I noticed no errors or typo's.

A good part of the story here fills us with doubt as to whether Simon is good or bad as there are indications both ways. The gang set off for the crack for some reason to do with Red Bird. Lots of questions posed to the reader and the only way to find the answers is to read on.

A good title to this part, a bit cryptic perhaps. Another mysterious injury to a character near the woods. The finger points to Justin although there is dought because he has such a good nature. I am almost sure we are about to find out if he is the culprit, although this story is full of surprises. The line at the end is puzzling. What does he mean, I wonder?

Another well-written part with no errors noticed, but I seemed to get lost somehow. I have always managed to figure out what was going on before but this time it lost me somewhere and I had to read through it again to make sense of it all. Though it helped the second time, there seems to be a few puzzling bits which I am sure will become clearer as we go on.

The story keeps it pace and retains my interest from the start. I still would have left the GeeBee in the crack though.

The group enters a new location and although they are not made very welcome, the suspicious residents let them pass. The banter between Chepi and the GeeBee continues to cause a smile on my face. The final paragraphs bring a surprise to Charmian as well as the reader. It seems as if Charmian is beginning to realise her strengths. No errors or typo's noticed in this interesting part.

An entertaining part of the serial. It is quite funny in places which gives the reader a refreshing change to all the action and suspense. Having said that, the action returns at the end of the part and is equally as welcome to the reader, me.
Should Charmian have left the GeeBee in the crack? I think we are about to find out.
