Wow, this is an incredibly poignant poem. I feel bad when I read it. The sorrow and hopeless longing is just heartbreaking. The despair present in the words is unbearable but haunting as well. This is a dark poem beautifully conveyed. I love it. Well done.

My god. This is an incredibly complex style of poem. I don't see how you can begin to keep it straight. I love it though. That is amazing how second and forth lines seem to answer the first and third lines in the following stanza. That is soo cool.

This is a harsh poem. I can feel the anger and disappointment just emanating from each line. Outstanding job conveying such strong emotions in this limited format. This is a very clever Haiku. The meaning is clear and easy to understand. The topic is one that I think everyone can relate to so it makes the poem that much more entertaining. I love how the last line really slams the message home. Great poem.

This is my favorite type of poem so far. I think if ever I try my hand at poetry acrostic is what I will try.
As I said before this is a subject I can thoroughly relate to as well. Another great summer dread poem. You express the shame and humiliation of being overweight with brutal honesty. It adds a depth of emotion to the poem that is heart wrenching. Bravo.

Cool, this is another style I have not seen before but it looks very neat. I like it shape it makes very much and the story the poem tells is very fitting. It almost looks sand running through an hourglass or funnel. I love the effect. :)

This is a great story and one of my favorite style poems. Wait... this counts as an acrostic even though it doesn't really spell a word right? I mean it does spell out the whole alphabet.
Anyway, I love the story. I thought I was crazy about snow but I never tried to take it home with me hehe. What a great tale and memory. Nice job.

This is another incredibly powerful and moving story. I really like this style of poetry. This is one of the few instances when I think the repeating of the last line is very effective. I don't generally care for repetition but it works very well here.
You tell a great story here. Your pacing is impeccable. This is the perfect example of a slow boil. The tension builds and builds along with the emotion until it is finally released in a rushed single incident. Great example of storytelling. Bravo.

I have to say I have not seen this style of poem before but I really like it. It looks like a very difficult style to write just because it appears to be quite restrictive and limiting. What an interesting and sad sad poem. I feel so sorry for this child being punished for not working hard enough, when children shouldn't work at all. I can't help but wonder as I read this tragic story what inspired it since you don't see children working in mills anymore. At least I hope you don't.

This is absolutely awesome. I am still smiling. I love it. What a great piece of storytelling. It is cute and clever and extremely fun.
You build the tension so well in this piece. The suspense of what is going to happen is excruciating. I couldn't guess what was going to happen and I totally expected something horribly tragic. I am so glad that this had a happy outcome.

This poem again resonates with me. I can completely emphasize with the narrator. As a child I often use to ask myself why I couldn't be as carefree and happy as the "normal" children. Why couldn't I be normal too. Why was I the only child my age that worried so much about adult things. Why was I the only child that got sad over everything. Sad tale, great poem.
Oh and this exactly describes my weekends at the skating rink. Strange...

What a cool story. Again, I love the ambiguity of it. Is it truly just a sweet and loving gesture made by a shy admirer or is it the initial overture of a obsessed psycho stalker. The world may never know. I like to believe it is the sweet shy admirer.
I just want to say, I also think you did an outstanding job with rhythm, rhyme, structure and flow with this poem. The story started out with a nice afternoon walk and unfolded nicely with a possible love story or maybe something more sinister. Either way this is a great piece of storytelling and I really enjoyed it. :)

When I first read this poem it seemed very bleak and dismal to me but now that I have re-read it a few times I'm starting to look at it differently.
If you look at it from the point of view from that place before creation. As in waiting to be born or created then it becomes brilliant and profound. So that is how I am looking at it hehe. I like it very much. :)

Great great poem. It is so true that we are so often what we are taught and groomed to be. As children we learn to like the foods our parents eat, like the music, movie, clothes our friend and family like.
