Review of Soothing Idleness
Review by Cliff
Rated: ASR | (3.5)
A nice, comforting little essay. You went from the
days angst, to the brownie making, to the final relax-ing destination smoothly.

"luciosu" smell--should be lucious

"to "puul" out---should be pull

"this 'sooting' idleness---should be soothing

Good write for English 101

Interesting, reflective piece. Curly is definetly an
analogy that I would not have thought of.

There are most likely family members and different
events that led you to these analgous thoughts.

Very well written essay, the awareness of the changing
family as they age and new ones enter. Good.

Good muse. How often do we stop and reflect on things
of beauty. We certainly seldom take in account how
our surroundings have changed. Especially back to
before man got a hold of it.

Good little reflection. keep writing.

A nice, warm reflection. You gave some good, sound
advice for battling depression.

As always your word usage is flawless, so I just sit
back and in this case, agree with well illustrated
points. Your love shows.

"It works for me."

Very well written reflection. Its seems like your
running away was a very good decision.

Who was he? Who gave you all the good advice and
listened to you in your time of need.

Your Mother called, so she knew where you had run?

Good muse, maybe the questions are non of my business.

Very well written essay. Anyone that writes about and
wants to experience peace is welcome in my world.

Yes, the words are so simplistic, yet so impossible to
obtain. I do not pray, but I do meditate and love, so
I will join you in PEACE.

Review of Maine Winter
Review by Cliff
Rated: E | (4.0)
I was born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula,
akin to Maine's climate. Personally, I like to view
winter from Florida.

"Hill, vail, and garbage heap sleep under a blanket"--
I like that prose

Wasn't sure what you meant: "cold and wind to battle,"
battle what?

Good writing; keep warm

Very moving reflectiond of your lost, loved ones. I am
sorry for your loss.

".....the fog is rising."
____Emily Dickinson's last
words.

"I awoke to a cold, and felt a presence..." cold room,
hand?

"We were notified by the Red Cross would read easier.

A difficult subject, written well.

Review of America Bless God

Well written, poignant view. Nice, short and sweet, the
meassage was delivered.

"Your interpretation of the Declaration of Independ-
dence and the Constitution emphasis on Liberty and
Freedom is "right On."

Why would we believe that just America's people should
be blessed? Are we not all our Creator's childeren?

I agree with your assessment of Holloween; a lot of
folks put more time and effort into this night for
themselves and their children than is warrented.

Although I doubt that devil worship and cult views are
exchanged. I think people enjoy the roll playing, the
crativeness, and the onominity. "careless about strong,
dark powers, I think most do not.

Good write, lots of solid points to project your views.

Oh, I hate these sad tales. My word, why are we sooo
slow in realizing things with the opposite sex.

Wimmen have our number. Had you jumped all over her
earlier, she woulda done a number on you anyway.

That's what you have to believe.

By the way, don't ever take my advice when it comes to
the ladies.

I wish you would have played it for us. I am happy for
you. Parents have a way of coming "up with" special
gifts for their very special kids.

Well written story about you and your parents. I liked
the "speechless" thrill you experienced.

Oooh, wow, that was an incredible chase. Wish I coulda
been there.

The only thing I remember of Memphis, is Beale Street,
so I don't imagine I could have helped you find your
way.

Good depiction on life in the modern shopping lane.
And it's gonna get tougher.

Interesting, I do believe. If I take I-75 south to
Kentucky, where do I exit for the Pliyian Enclave?

Seriously, good imaginative read here. I could never
come up with this stuff.

You did a terrific job with dialogue and description
of the people and events.

"Dracanus foresta," I'm gonna check this out, righta'
way. I think you made this up.

Although, Magicians and Dragons are far beyond my
comprehension level, I liked this.

The dragon is the choice, albiet, under stress. But I
will remember this advice.

This is only a female point of view here. I like the
blue ink; blue is nice. And I mostly agree with your
definition of love.

Well written, you make your points in style with and
pizzaz. But you see I have to diaagree with your
theory on marriage by borrowing a line from your
opening verse--"But it's the worst the worst that
could happen to me."--'I'll never get married........

This was a good, tense write, the chance to have the
underdog shine to glorius victory.

I knocked off some for capitalization, or the lack.

favor" should be do me---pretty minor edit, huh?

"Sock it to 'em, Mom. Very clever, well written ode

What about pairs of socks?

But, don't ya' miss the old, unpredictable dog, just a
little? No, well okay.

I enjoyed your style and pace of the story. Haven't
had a dog in years, but you did conjure up memories
of skunks, and heaven forbid; the porcupine. Those
quills are particularly troublesome.

Write more good stuff.

Yes, Mary Ann, throw your hat in the ring, you got my
vote. If common sense ever invaded our goverment, who
knows what could be accomplished.

But, alas, we're dreaming. I mean they are said to
have an intelligence division. Now, there's an oxy-
moron.

Good valid points. Well written.

Now that was a story for the ages. The childhood
lament just breezed along and reached a happy
conclusion. The way a childhood rememberance should
read.

Great stuff, boy can I identify. New Jersey, isn't
that where Harry Chapin bought it? He shoulda stuck
to "Taxi's"

I love this, no editing, just a pure pleasurable read.
Guess you can tell, I suffer also.

But, I want to inform you, come winter, all your elderly idiots will be on the road with me in South
Florida. Condemn--I-95! Peace, Cliff

I loved this verbage, "I always hate being resonsible
for endings." Absolutely true.

I have encountered a scorpion or two in my travels, so
I identify to this wonderful read.

That's interesting. I like your comparison to life.
The ups and downs.

I agree with the long lines, besides sky diving is
much more fun.

You could go back in and back space he the blank spots
and make it an easier read.

Keep writing

Review of Arts in School?
Review by Cliff
Rated: ASR | (4.0)
I agree and disagree. I think the arts are very impor-tant and all types should be offered.

I also agree that a wide varity of choices on the maths
and sciences, for those who want them.

Now, what do for the kids that are on hold, idling
through school? They have soooo many "other" interests
to occupy their thoughts and time.

Good write, room for much debate here.
