Yes, it makes two of us. Walking on the beach is magic, as I just did today, even though it was so hot, but there was some wind from the ocean that was cooling.
I know what you mean about the phones and younger generation. My son and daughter in-law even when they drop by to visit us, can't stop the beep beep of it. They stare at us politely while their thumbs do the walking.

We are of the same age but I have no married children even though they are 40 and 30. I loved reading about your family. One note: its Kudos not Judos. Probably fat finger like I have.

and charleabney for reading and commenting. I was not courageous. I was shocked and appalled.
I came to understand the brainwashing because many of our runners were straight out of boot camp. One man told me how he was tortured because he would not sing the stupid marching song about dead commies.
It was one of our nations uglier moments.
