Speed Reading/reviewing- 1000 word story won't even take me five minutes to read, and you'll get a review within 10 minutes of me reading it. As it is, my reviews are usually around 300 Characters- minus my Review Sig. However, sometimes they'll reach the 1,000 Character mark. Depends on the Story/item. *Bigsmile*

Interactives that don't have an actual story started - Give me some meat to eat there before you ask me to look at it, with at least one thread being at least 10 chapters long, and not just choices that aren't even developed, preferably written by your own hand. Books - well, not through a Review Request page anyways, as I'd would have to review the book itself and not the Chapter, in order to get paid, but I will review them if you ask me in an email. Using tarot cards, a cute story-poem has been written. As read, this looks like something akin to Revelations, where those who are good get rewarded, and those who did evil get punished. This all seems to be based off of a card that they all drew at one point or another. Makes one wonder a great deal.

Well, this is an interesting sci-fi piece to read. Two astronauts return to their old home, and note just how things have changed. This home is none other than Earth, which humans left when it could no longer sustain humanity. Makes one wonder what happened to make leaving to be necessary.

A cute collection of short poems. One talks about God. One talks about the moon. One talks about a pile of rubble, and one talks about smoke. What do these have in common? Connections to Spirituality, and the Environment, which is very important to a wide number of people, who care about a lot of similar things. Worth the read.

Are you Comma Crazy? A very good question. Does one love to use the comma, or do they avoid using it? For me, it depends on if I want to make a character seem uneducated, or well-educated. Although Terry Pratchett had his own thing, especially for the Night Watch's Oath, where the Guards being sworn in had to state each of the punctuations, including plenty of commas.

Depending on the Style - either more commas are needed, or less are needed.

An interesting piece to read. What is freedom? To some, it's the ability to do what we want. To others, it's an illusion. There's all kinds of ways to describe it. Perhaps Freedom is more of a goal - a freedom to not worry about things that bother us. That is a possibility to think on. There is always a type of freedom out there.

Ah, the rain - an item that is needed for plants to grow, streams to flow, and water to drink. Love it, or hate it, it is a necessity to life, or things might dry up. The sound of rain upon a roof can produce a type of music of sorts - the song could be nice, or it could be a nuisance. It's all a matter of opinion, of if you enjoy it or not.

An old man takes a trip to a lake he used to go to when he was younger, in order to enjoy it, one last time.

There are places we like going to, for they hold special meanings. The old place, where you were a child - it was so big back then, now, it is much smaller. The school you went to - that's changed a lot. The old swimming hole you swam at - dried up when the creek's course changed. However, the memories, those tend to stay.

Need a bottle or two of soda to read this one. You have someone talking about their dreams, how they always change due to trouble of one sort or another. Can be a little confusing, due to current format, and potentially it's length, but it's still an interesting item to take a look at, and say something about.

I don't see any issues with spelling or grammar. However, in most poems, the first letter of each line tends to be capitalized, along with the "i"s themselves being capitalized. Now, if this is done as a style or personal choice, disregard this.

Suggestion
Most poems tend to have 4-6 lines in a related group, with a space between groups, to make reading easier.

Summer - a time of heat and hot days. As the temperature rises, so do tempers. Folks often wonder what will happen. Will this Summer be that tipping point towards a Civil War, or will it just be another Summer, where folks cool off at a swimming hole, and enjoy picnics in the shade of a tall tree? One never knows. Oh, look - an ice cream stand. Want some?

A very short piece about how mankind, unexpectedly, finds out that it is not alone in the universe, when extra large space ships show up in the atmosphere. Now humanity wishes that it was alone.

To me, this reads as an introduction to a possible story about an alien invasion. Based on what's mentioned, it's rather clear that the aliens are far from friendly, what with humans not being at the top of the food chain. Is that merely a metaphor, or is that literally true? One might wonder.

Looks like the start of an interesting story.

An interesting piece, about what it means to be a Sailor, most likely in the Navy. While many have different experiences, plenty share the same ones. There is laughter and joy, crying and sadness. There is also the knowledge that, no matter what, they will be Brothers. As the song goes - all give some, and some give all.

A man comes to his work. His car, just on the drivable side. Seems he tried to break up with a girlfriend, but instead of completely cutting her out, he wanted a Friends With Benefits situation. She, apparently, wasn't too keen on this idea, and, being a mechanical engineer, chop up his car, so that, while it can drive, doing so is very annoying, to say the least. Might just have been a bad moment for her though.

There are days we like to look back on our childhood, and think about those special moments. For me, it's a spot along the creek. My little brother and I would grab some towels, put on the swim shorts, run down there, and play in that cold water on a hot day...... good times. In your case, there was a swimming pool that you liked to visit, and along the way was a crabapple tree, that you loved picking fruit off of. Know the feeling.

This is not an easy poem to read, as it's about emotional abuse from a loved one. The person pretends to be shy, meek, even helpless, but it soon comes clear to the victim, that they are using the other for their own means, and that they are not as helpless as they appear, and thus are setting their victim up to make them completely, and utterly, helpless.

Well, this looks like an interesting story tidbit. It's WW2, and a German U-Boat is looking for American convoy ships trying to help resupply England. However, their mission soon changes, when, during a routine attack on a convoy, some strange creature attacks them. Only due to the captain's quick thinking, is the crew able to escape the creature's grasp, managing to surface, only to encounter the vessels escorting the convoy. Raise the white flag.

This looks like the start of an interesting story. Some kids would like to go to the local doughnut store to get some heavily discounted doughnuts. However, the one has noticed that it is starting to rain, in a rather strange way. Things get more strange as they decide to get on their bikes to go for a ride. It is clear that this rain is more than just green.

The sea, she can be a cruel mistress. In this case, a hundred souls have perished, their vessel, now a tomb, is now sunk deep into a watery grave, never to surface again. This happens to plenty that pick the sea as a way of life. Sometimes it happens to one, sometimes to many. One might wonder what happens to the souls of those that have such a fate. One has to think.

People like to think about their mothers. In this case, this person had two - the one that gave birth to them, and the other who adopted them. It seems that the birth mother was too young to be a parent, and the other was willing to give the child a chance. This is something that could be useful out there - to locate those who are willing to take on the roll of being a parent. However, they are not easy to find, due to a number of reasons.

This is a potent poem, especially those who were there, on June 6th, 1944 (although I'm certain that many who have had to do similar things will be able to relate to this sort of moment). A soldier tries to get to his destination, fighting the enemy while a number of his brothers fall. Will he be able to make it, or will he be among those that never see tomorrow? Only time can tell.

Ah, backsliding, and the dangers of turning away from the Lord. It seems that God doesn't like folks who turn their backs on Him, punishing those who do such a sinful thing, for whatever reason. However, what if it's not so much God that folks are turning away from, but rather the Church. Sometimes a Church tries to force folks to do things they don't like, and does highly sinful things, while claiming to be doing the Lord's work. A man might walk away from a Church, only to instead walk along a beautiful nature path, and enjoy the Lord's work, even offering up a quiet prayer, saying, "Lord, thank you for a lovely day."

Ah, childhood memories involving long road trips. Some are really long. Sometimes you can't remember them, or only remember pieces of them. Some last hours, even all day. For some, the question is; why did you travel? Could be to go visit someone you ain't seen in a while, or have never seen. Sometimes, it's simply to say, "Good-bye", one last time. In any case, sometimes the journey is what's important, not the destination.

In many ways, our lives are compared to leaves in the wind. The wind can be gentle, causing good travels, or they can be rough, making the journey risky. As we travel in this manner, in both good and bad, we seek to find our own way, in spite of the wind. Most of the time, we tend to do so. Sometimes though, we are surprised at how the journey has changed us.

Well, this is a cute poem to read. Daffodils are one of the first flowers to bloom in Spring, and tend to be rather hardy - plant them most anywhere, and they will grow and multiply. I enjoy seeing them poke out of the ground, early in the year, every year, since the year after I planted them. Always nice to think of those yellow and white blossoms.

Sometimes one must go for a walk outside. This could be in a field, along the beach, a hiking trail, perhaps just an everyday dirt road. This can help us to think, and relax. It allows us to know what is important as we calm a frantic mind from a stressful day. We all need to take a walk on occasion. A pleasant poem to read.
