Lets here it for the toilets!!!
The things they call news...
Why dont they tell us the things that are really going on in this world the behind the scenes events that really effect us I ask you!
Media in its finest hour talking about toilets actually is something Im sure they can relate to!
Keep on keeping a journal and I'll keep on reading it!

Ps; It seems our paths have crossed here at sometime in the past. Good luck on your journal
Your eloquent analysis of a situation lets the reader inside and see the way things are. I can relate to the obstacles that sometimes invade our relations that tend to smother the love right out of us.
Unfortunately I can relate to this more than you will ever know. But I am getting on with my life and I hope the same for you! I thank you for your visits to my port.
Today I just look at it like it was just a test.
Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading!

I have to respect those who have review forums for it is those who help me grow and help me to get closer to being able to write in a manner in which others can relate to!
I have tried to write poetry and its what I like to do more than stories or other types of writing...
If you find the time please check out "Welcome to my world" it has every poem I ever wrote.
I hope to see you there soon
(I think I have seen you there before.... its been a while I was active here...)

What an astute and introspective observations!!!
Many see things that they dont really take the time to wonder about. I enjoy the little things that make up the big picture!!!
I love the attention to detail you present!!!
Hopefully you will concur with my political observations in my folder this topic.
BTW Keith Richards checks himself into the hospital once a year and has his blood removed and gets a tranfusion to be able to party on Garth!
The cliches kind of hide some of your emotion... Other than that your feeling come shining through. I seen your review and I just couldnt read that story as I spent my Christmas alone.
I'm glad to have R&R this post!
Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading!

I can relate to your thinking about the winter. I am a fellow texan too. This kinda reminds me of the depths of despair that I found in a Chicago winter once a while back. You have captured this aspect eloquently and aptly!

Your words paint quite a scene that shows our mortality and our subconcious demons that tend to invade our nights. I do not think that you have to be a poet to write poetry...
But I do think that as we continue to write poems one day we make a transition that allows up to pass some doorway that others beguin to think we are poets. I hope one day to pass through that doorway and I think you are well on your way!
I always enjoy reading a newbies posts and peeking into their soul to see what lurks hidden within. Some times its demons and sometimes its angels... for I truly they both inhabit us. That is the battle fought night and day that makes us who we truly are.
Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading!

A very touching and endearing poem. It really plucks at the heartstrings that many of us keep from ever hearing the music that writing like yours provide.

Your format is more of a prose than actual poetry. I can totally relate to each and every word in this post however it is not what I would call freestyle. I am not sure of all the different styles of poetry and do not claim to be an expert by no means. I hope that you find a form that suits your desires to write within.
Keep on writing

Your universal theme really comes home in terms of feelings that most of us try to hide or block but when they are exposed to the light as you have aptly done here they seem to prevail. You write well and to you I say this,
