Overall Impression: It is difficult for me to review a piece that I am not sure that I understand. *Blush* I wasn't sure if it was impressionistic from the view of one drowning in water, society or a drug-induced stupor. I apologize. I am afraid that my reviewing skills are not very sophisticated. It seems that the thoughts are disjointed. I am sure that this is for emphasis in the situation that your are conveying.

Suggestions: I think it may help to have some consistency in punctuation....maybe either not use any, or use it as it should be. But, please remember this is only a suggestion from a reader, and not from one who is an expert in the usage of punctuation, nor grammar.

Overall Impression: Dark and disturbing "take" on "Hush, Little Baby", but rhyme scheme is good and the piece does flow smoothly. It would nicely fit into the horror/gothic genre.
