Overall Impression: I think that your story line is plausible for the most part. I was a little puzzled at the economics of two high school students, that are college bound, can afford to live together, unless they are from wealthy backgrounds, but that was only minor. It does sound like a good line to be developed and expanded. You will have to decide where you want to go with it....Does the female lead and Zak have feelings for one another after eight plus years? Has he finished med school? In only eight years, you have not allowed for much practice in the field of law.....4 yrs. of college, and 3 yrs. of law school, following one year of being pregnant and having the baby means that you came out of law school and joined a firm that made you a senior partner. That usually doesn't happen in real life. You might want to re-think your time table just a little if you want to be realistic. But, this is just my take on it. I don't mean to sound critical; I'm just giving you suggestions that might help in the story. Good luck with the development of this one! I would be interested in reading a little more.
