Overall Impression: Nice short story told from the perspective of "Dave the Hummingbird". Your personification of Dave made him much more realistic. How human-like he was not to ever declare that he had "found" his ultimate objective. So many of us drift from one thing to another never deciding that we are truly satisfied and at peace with ourselves. Dave enjoyed himself, but was never quite ready to relinquish his search for the perfect flower.

Errors:In paragraph 9, you refer to Bishop Malcapina (throughout the rest of the prologue) as Bishop Malsapina. There are 3 references in that paragraph, but the spelling is changed then for the remainder. I am sure that this is a "typo".

Overall Impression: Cute story written from a child's perspective! I remember those days of "surprises". Some of the were wonderful, and some were less than "wonderful", but all were given with love from my children!
