This made me laugh! My husband is always loosing something! I always envisioned the "lost" object just sitting there and laughing at me because we could not find it!
I like your writing and think you wrote this well. There are many things that cannot be explained by normal standards. There's an old saying 'trust your gut' only you know what you saw that day.
I have enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more. There are minor grammatical errors such as the word 'widen' should be 'widened'. I have trouble with grammar and punctuation also.
I just want to say that suffer from depression also. It is terrible - we do have to keep looking for that rainbow - that is a promise from God. I talk to him daily too - I also have a very private journal where I write out my prayers - I call it 'Letters to God'. I always feel a little better after I do that. He did promise never to leave us! We have had some serious issues in our family this last few weeks and like you said it seems like it will never end. God did not promise that our lives would be free of pain and suffering - but that He would be there to lead us through it and give us comfort. My family truly needs it right now as I am sure you do.
Dear Father, I pray this morning for lewis88 and myself and all others who are going thru trials this morning - we pray for comfort, healing, and the power to move past the depression and to be able to see the light and know that better times are coming. Thank you for always being there for us even if we might not be able to see it. Thank you for your love and caring and comfort. In your name I pray AMEN.
I would also like to mention the NAFP Prayer forum on writing.com. They have wonderful prayer warriors who welcome you to come and pray.
You will be in my prayers, hope you feel better more and more each day!
