Hello QueenOwl Is Back,

I am writing this review to you today because this is your day to be honored as a Power Reviewer. I’m also doing it because this is your anniversary month with the WDC. You have been with us for three years now.

These are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's your opinion. And it's wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your last blog entry. And I like it very, very much. It kept me interested in wanting to continue reading it from beginning to end. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t stop until I finished it. Yes, I wanted to read more of them. But this one was pretty long. I don’t have the time to do it right now. Still want to read them if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do it.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about this blog entry is that it’s actually two blogs in one. But yet they were still the same one too. First you talked about the three phases of life. Which are yesterday, today, and tomorrow. You mostly talked about yesterday. In fact, it all seemed like your yesterday. The second part was about the molestation inflected on you from the age of four to sixteen. Then again when you became an adult. I’m very sorry that happened to you. They should be shot painfully and long lasting for what they did or tried to do to you. Did any of them pay for what they did?

Any Last Thoughts: I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason I am reviewing you today is because you are being honored today. And that this is your anniversary month. But it's not the reason I have chosen your blog to review. There are two reasons I did it. One of them is I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog them, I'm going to review it.

The other reason why I’m doing your blog is because I have started a couple of blogs myself. 'The Truth About the Universe'

"The Truth About the Universe

is here in my PureSciFi account. And 'What I Like to Write, What I Don't Like'

"What I Like to Write, What I Don't Like

can be found in my PureSciFiPlus account. You can check them out if you want to.

I liked your blog very, very much. Once again, congratulations on being honored today. And for being a part of us for the past three years. Keep on writing.

Hello April Des 2017 ROCKS!,

I am writing this review to you today because this is your day to be honored as a Power Reviewer. These are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's your opinion. And it's wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your last three blog entries. And I like them very much. They kept me interested in wanting to continue reading them from beginning to end. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t stop until I finished it. I wanted to read more of them. But I don’t have the time to do it right now. Still want to read them if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do it.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries is that the first two had multiple parts to them. The first one had two parts. Both parts are about a song from the Community Newsfeed Challenge. But the first part is about you having a sleeping disorder, sort of like the one in the song. The second part had something to do with mind control by the government. Your second blog entry had three parts to it. And once again two of them kind of talks about the same thing. That was cursive and hand-written. My Short Stories are off the top of my head, even though some of them are planned ahead of time. But my Novels, movie and television scripts are written out in cursive first. At least the one-sentence outlines are. The Novels ad scripts themselves aren’t as much. They are sort off the top of my head too. As for the third part of your second blog, it’s about a book series that you read when you were twelve. The third blog entry was about Halloween. And how it had become too commercialized.

Any Last Thoughts: I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason I am reviewing you today is because you are being honored today. But it's not the reason I have chosen your blog to review. There are two reasons I did it. One of them is I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog them, I'm going to review it.

This probably the second review you are getting from me because I messed up again. I forgot to change the greeting before I started your review. The review itself is all yours. Only the greeting is what I messed up on.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries is the awardicon that you praise at the beginning of each entry. I think that’s a nice thing to do. That’s something I have a problem with. I’m very bad at not responding to emails. I know I have a problem with that. And I’m working on it. But I still have a long way to go. I also liked that your blogs were different from each other, but also the same. They both had to do with goals. The first one dealt with your goals from 2016 and your goals for 2017. And the second one dealt with your goals so far for 2016.

Hello sindbad - We Got This!,

The reason I am reviewing you today is because you are being honored today as a Power Reviewer. I know I just reviewed you a few days ago, for the January Raid. But I did that wrong. Not that I couldn’t have reviewed you, but because I didn’t realize you were a Power Reviewer. I was trying not to review Power Reviewers. Especially, those who were being praised this month. But I messed up and did a few anyway. You are one of them. If you don’t like to be reviewed, especially with the last one only a few days ago, again please let me know.

These are only my opinions. If you don’t like them, that’s your opinion. And it’s wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your latest blog entry. And I liked it a whole lot. It kept me interested in wanting to continue it from beginning to end. Once I started reading it I couldn’t stop until I finished it. I wanted to read more of them. But I don’t have time to do it right now. Still want to if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do that. I wasn’t going to review this blog again so soon. But I noticed that you have updated it since the January Raid. So, I decided that I would. You will read why in a minute or two.

The Blog Itself: What I like the best about this blog entry is that I disagree with what you are saying. I agree with you that I, everyone, should forgive. But I’m not that kind of person. When someone does me wrong I not only won’t forgive them, I never will. I’m like an elephant in that respect. I never forget. A good example of this is my ex-father. He's considered an ex-father to me because of the way he has treated me all my life. Also, because he never wanted me to begin with. And he didn’t even try to hide that from me. Even now that he’s dead, he died New Year Eve 2016, I still won’t forgive him and never will.

Any Last Thoughts: The only problem that I noticed that you might have done wrong is that you didn’t put the letter ‘s’ at the end of some words. I know blogs are more liberal when it comes to grammar and punctuation. But I think it still should be followed. If you do it here, you might do it with your stories too. And that will get you into trouble with a lot of Reviewers. You might want to check into that.

I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason I am reviewing you today is because you are being honored today. But it's not the reason I have chosen this blog entry to review. I did that for a couple of reasons. One of them is that I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog them, I'm going to review it.

The reason I’m doing blogs this year is because I have started a couple of blogs myself. 'The Truth About the Universe'

I liked your blog entry a whole lot. And once again, congratulations on being honored today. Keep on writing.

Hello CanImagine,

The reason I am reviewing you today is because you are being honored today as a Power Reviewer. These are only my opinions. If you don’t like them, that’s your opinion. And it’s wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading the first chapter of your novel, Know Thine Enemy, and I liked it very, very much. It kept me interested in want to continue reading it from beginning to end. Once I started reading it I couldn’t stop until I finished it. What I liked best about it, besides being Science Fiction, is that it kept me in suspense all through it. I wanted to read more of your novel. But I don’t have the time to do it right now. Still, do if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do it.

The Story: This is a story about a spaceship that is about to be attacked. At least that’s what the crew thinks when they don’t get a response from an oncoming ship. Especially, since it appeared that another ship was preparing to attack. But it didn’t. Once they could communicate with it the other ship left.

Where Your Location Is: I’m not exactly sure what part of the universe this story takes place in. But I think that it’s near Earth. After all, the crew thinks like so many Earthling do now. That we are the only race in the universe. Which isn’t true. You need to read my blog about Alien Races to read why. As for the spaceship, itself you didn’t go into a lot of detail with it so far. But you did some. And that’s okay. After all, this is the first chapter of a novel. Personally, I try to have a least one solid location in all my stories. Which I think you will in time. It all depends on what my Word Count limitations are as to how much I put into them. Sometimes it’s just the location itself. Usually, it’s a little bit, if not a lot, more than that. I’m referring to Short Stories, of course. It’s a lot different with Novel. There aren’t any Word Count limitations with them. Only megabytes.

Your Main Character: Captain Scott is the main character in this story. But he’s not the only one. You have introduced several other already. And I’m sure there will be more. Maybe even a few Russians. I like that you gave them names. Personally, I try to give all my characters a name. Especially, my main ones. I think it makes them feel more real if they have one. But that’s just the way I like to write my stories. Once again, I’m talking about Short Stories so far. One of my goals this year is to have a Novel Challenge.

How They Spoke to Me: There was a lot of dialogue in this story. And what dialogue there was looked good. At least it did to me.

Any Last Thoughts: The only problem that I noticed that you might have done wrong is that you seemed to tell this story instead of showing it. That's a real no-no for most reviewers. You did a good job showing it. But there were a few times it looked like you were telling it.

I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason I am reviewing you today is that you are being honored today. But it's not the reason I have chosen this Chapter to review. I did that because I thought I would like it since it’s Science Fiction.

Normally, I would have reviewed your blog. But you don’t have one. So, I chose this to review instead. There are a couple of reasons why I was going to review your blog. One of them is that I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog them, I'm going to review it.

The reason I’m doing blogs this year is because I have started a couple of blogs myself. 'The Truth About the Universe'

"The Truth About the Universe

is here in my PureSciFi account. And 'What I Like to Write, What I Don't Like'

"What I Like to Write, What I Don't Like

can be found in my PureSciFiPlus account. You can check them out if you want to.

I liked your story very, very much. Keep on writing.

Hello Cheri Annemos,

I am writing this review to you today because you are a Preferred Author. And that is what the theme is for the January Power Reviewer Raid. These are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's your opinion. And it's wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your last three blog entries. And I liked them very much. They kept me interested in wanting to continue reading them from beginning to end. Once I started reading them, I couldn’t stop until I finished them. I wanted to read more of them. But they were pretty long. And I just don’t have the time to do it right now. Still want to do them if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do it.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries was that they were completely different from each other. One is about a song name ‘Lay Hatred Down.’ And it has something to do with clemency for Leonard Peltier. I’m sorry, but I don’t know who that is. But whoever he is he’s not going to get clemency from Trump either, unless he’s filthy rich too. Another blog entry was about a paycheck that almost got mailed. That’s what you get for using snail mail instead of email. *BigSmile* The third one was about another prompt. This one was what was the best and what was the worst parts of last year. I think I have reviewed this prompt before. But it wasn’t done in a sort of chronological order like this one was.

Any Last Thoughts: I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason why I am reviewing you today is because you are a Preferred Author. But it's not the reason why I have chosen a blog to review. I'm doing that for two reasons. One of them is that I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog them, I'm going to review it.

Reason number two is because I have started a couple of blogs myself. 'The Truth About the Universe'

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries was that they were completely different from each other. One is a Short Story about a sword fight. This isn’t the first Short Story blog that I have read since I started reading blogs a few weeks ago, it’s not even the first one that wasn’t just Short Stories either. The second one was about promises and great starts. It’s about the beginning of a new year. A new year where anything can happen. At least I think that’s what it’s about. Am I right about that?

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about this blog entry is that we have a lot in common. I don’t do music with my writing like you do. But when it comes to my big budget movies I do believe in Theme Songs. At least they are there in my Outlines and Treatments. I know they aren’t part of the finished script. The same is true about numbering scenes. But that doesn’t mean I can do it with my Outlines and Treatments. After all, almost anything goes with them.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries is that they were all completely different from each other. One is about your passion for music and musical instruments. It started with a piano. But it ended with your favorite instrument of them all. I’ll bet almost anything that your family and neighbors didn’t like you taking up the drums. The other blog entry was about organizing your Portfolio. That’s something I need to do. Not as much as organizing it, but to update it now that I have Grammarly Premium. I plan to do it later this year. As for if I it does get done only time will tell.

Hello drifter,

I am writing this review to you today for two reasons. One of them is because you are a Preferred Author. And that is what the theme is for the January Power Reviewer Raid. The second reason is because this is your anniversary month with the WDC. These are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's your opinion. And it's wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your last three blog entries. And I liked them a lot. They kept me wanting to continue reading them from beginning to end. Once I started reading them, I couldn’t stop until I finished them. I wanted to read more. But I don’t have the time to do it. Still want to read them if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to have a chance to do that.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blogs is that they were completely different. At least the first one is from the other two. The second and third ones were related to each other somewhat. They dealt with God while the first one dealt with Change.

"The Truth About the Universe

is here in my PureSciFi account. And 'What I Like to Write, What I Don't Like'

"What I Like to Write, What I Don't Like

can be found in my PureSciFiPlus account. You can check them out if you want to.

I liked your blog a lot. Keep on writing.

Hello pumpkin,

I am writing this review to you today because you are a Preferred Author. And that is what the theme is for the January Power Reviewer Raid. These are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's your opinion. And it's wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your last two blog entries. And I liked them very much. They kept me interested in wanting to continue reading them from beginning to end. Once I started reading them, I couldn’t stop until I finished them. I wanted to read more of them. But I just don’t have the time to do it right now. Still want to do them if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do it.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries is that they were different from each other. But yet they are also the same too. They are both blogging about the new year. The only real difference between the two is that one dealt with the clutter of boxes and the other one dealt with getting over a bad cold.

I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do it.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about this blog entry is that this one entry has been broken up into several seconds, which makes it easier to read. At least it’s easier for me. As for the entry itself, most of it deals with God. But all of it deals with the coming of a new year.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries is that they were both different. One is a test. And it reads like a religious entry. I’m not a big fan of Religion. But I am religious. I just don’t believe that you have to be religious every day of your life to prove it. The second entry is about appositives.

I’m just not sure when I’m going to be able to do it.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries is that all three of them are completely different from each other and based on prompts. One is about a whole box of crayons. It looks like a poem. But I’m not sure about that. Was it a poem? Another entry is about the best and worst of 2016. The third one is about being alive. I really like that they were short too.

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your last three blog entries. And I did like them. But I did have a lot of trouble reading them. It’s just too sophisticated to me. I wanted to read more, but if they are as sophisticated as these three were I don’t think I’m going to be able to. I still might try to do it if I can. I’m just not sure when I’m going to have a chance to do that.

The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about these blog entries is that you tried to explain the universe. At least that’s what I think you were trying to do. I will admit that I didn’t read your introduction because of its length. But I’m sure if I did I would have learned that you were a Scientist of some kind. Am I right.

Any Last Thoughts: I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason why I am reviewing you today is because you are a Preferred Author. The Blog Itself: What I liked the best about this blog entry was that you organized it into three sections with five parts per section. I like to do that too. If you read many in of my Short Stories, you will see that I do the same thing. It’s especially true when it comes to my Outlines for my Novels and my Outlines and Treatments for my movie scripts and television shows. I’m a big fan of organization.

Hello Angus,

I am writing this review to you today because you are being honored today as a Power Reviewer. I’m also doing it because you are a Preferred Author. And that is what the theme is for the January Power Reviewer Raid. These are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's your opinion. And it's wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your Other Story, Midnight Angel, and I liked it very, very much. It kept me interested in continuing to read it from beginning to end. Once I start reading it I couldn’t stop until I finished it.

The Other Story Itself: There are three things that I really liked about this story. One is the colors that you used. Not the colors themselves. But the fact you used colors throughout it. Another thing I liked was that your centered it. The third thing was that you wrote it like a poem without it being a poem. It wasn’t a poem, was it? If it was why did you categorize it as ‘Other’ instead of Poetry?

Any Last Thoughts: I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason I am reviewing you today is because this is your day to be honored as a Power Reviewer. But it's not the reason I have chosen this Other Story to review. Normally, I would be doing a blog. But since I couldn’t do that I chose this one instead. I'm wanted to do a blog for two reasons. One of them is that I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog them, I'm going to review it.

Reason number two is because I have started a couple of blogs myself. 'The Truth About the Universe'

I liked your Other Story very, very much. And once again, congratulations on being honored today. Keep on writing.

Hello Thankful Sonali,

I am writing this review to you today because you are being honored today as a Power Reviewer. These are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's your opinion. And it's wrong. *BigSmile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your Script/Play, Hagrid’s Pet Shop, and I did like it. But at the same time I didn’t. Mostly because I was expecting a script or a play. And I got neither. I’m a scriptwriter for both movies and television. True, I haven’t done much of either for the past year or so because I have been having so much fun writing Short Stories. But this year that’s all going to change. That’s why I’m so disappointed with your Script/Play. When I saw it in your portfolio I thought for sure I had found something I would like. But I was wrong.

The Script/Play Itself: This was supposed to be a Script/Play about a pet shop. But it read more like an Outline for a possible Script/Play. And it really wasn’t that either. You said yourself that this was an assignment for your students. I think it should have been classified as an Assignment instead of a Script/Play. Now if you had produced some of the student entries that would have been okay. But you didn’t.

Any Last Thoughts: I’m going to be very honest with you. The only reason why I am reviewing you today is because this is your day to be honored as a Power Reviewer. But it's not the reason why I have chosen this Script/Play to review. Normally, I would be doing a blog. But since I couldn’t do that I chose this one instead. I'm wanted to do a blog for two reasons. One of them is that I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog them, I'm going to review it.

I just finished reading your last four or five, maybe even six or seven, blogs. And I liked them a whole lot. What I liked the best about these blogs is that they were so short. Only a few lines each. That's why I read so many of them. I could have read they all if they were all like these. And I'm sure they are. But I'm not a big fan of Poetry. Don't get me wrong, I do like poetry. I just don't like it that much.

What I also liked was that they were poems. I've never seen that in a blog before. Of course, I just recently started reviewing blogs. I have seen them in books. But not a blog. I'm not surprised about it, though. At least one other Power Reviewer does the same thing. Only they write Short Stories in there blogs.

I'm going to be honest with you. The only reason my I am writing this review today is because we are honoring you today for being a Power Reviewer. But that's not the reason why I chose this blog to review. There are two reason I did that. One reason is because I have decided to review blogs this year whenever I can. If you have a blog I'm going to review it.

Reason number two is because I have started a couple of blogs of my own. 'The Truth About the Universe' is in my PureSciFi account. And 'What I Like to Write, What I don't like' can be found in my PureSciFiPlus account. You can check out both of them if you want to.

Once again, congratulations on being honored today. Keep on writing.

I just finished reading the last three entries in your blog. And I liked them a very, very much. Especially the Short Story in between the two song lyrics. It kept me interested in it from beginning to end. Once I started reading it I couldn't stop until I finished it.

What I liked best of all was your Short Story. I have just gotten into blogging and reviewing blog. But I have never seen a blog like this. The music lyrics are a little different too, but not as different as the Short Story is.

There are three reasons why I am writing this review today. One is that this is your day to be honored as a great Power Reviewer that you are. But that's not the reason I chose this blog to review. I chose it for my other two reasons I did it today.

Another reason is that I have decided to review blogs this year if I can. If you have a blog I'm going to review it. And if you have more than one I'll review it later. Probably on your Anniversary. Which is the same as my secondary account. Is that your birthday too,

The third reason is because I have started a couple of blogs of my own. One is, 'The Truth About the Universe' and it can be found in my PureSciFi account. And 'What I Like to Write, What I don't like' I created for my PureSciFiPlus account. You can check them out if you want to.

Once again, congratulations on being honored today. Keep on writing.

Hello LifeLessons,

I saw your name on the Anniversary Review List. And I wanted to give you an Anniversary Review. This is your third year with us. *Smile* Happy Anniversary *Smile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your Short Story, Mirror Mirror, and I liked it a whole lot. It kept me wanting to read it from beginning to end. Once I started reading it I couldn't stop until I finished it. Good job.

The Story: This is a story about a female who is getting old, but didn't realize it. One day she just woke up and she was old. Her husband looked old too. And they had grown children. So, it shouldn't have been a surprise to her. But it was. It didn't bother, though. She accepts it and goes on.

Where Your Location Is: The house that her and her husband live in is the location for this story. I think you did a pretty good job describing it. Personally, I try to have at least one solid location in all of my stories. It depends on what my Word Count limitations are as to how much detail I put into them. Sometimes it just the location itself. Usually, it's a little bit, if not a lot, more than that.

Your Main Character: Whoever this female is she is the main character in this story. Personally, I would have given them names. I try to give all of my characters a name. Especially the main ones. It makes them feel more real if they have a name. At least that's what I think.

How They Spoke to Me: There's no dialogue in this story. So, I'm not going to comment on that. There was one or more thoughts, though. Some, if not most or all, wouldn't consider that dialogue. But I do. The only problem that you might have here is that you didn't initialize your thought. Which I think you are supposed to do now. You might want to look into that.

Any Last Thoughts: The main reason I am doing this review today is in honor of you being fellow Power Reviewer. Usually, I try to do them during Raid time. But since you are being honored today I decided to do it now instead.

I liked your story a whole lot. Keep on writing.

Now I know why you have trouble keeping up with all the Aniverary Reviews we give you each month. It's because, like me and so many others on WDC, you have to work so that you can write too. I wouldn't have known that if you weren't being honored today.

By the way, congratulations on that. You are one of the reasons why I started reviewing as a Power Reviewer. If I remember right, it was actually Eyestar that invited, or was it suggested, that I join. But I think it was you that told her about me. Am I right about that.

As for your blog, I liked it a whole lot. What I liked the most is that you didn't just give us where you were going. You went into detail about where it was, how you got there, why you were there, and what you did besides your job. Good job, keep on writing it whenever you can.

I know I have reviewed you before. Maybe too much. I've done that in the past couple of years too. That's one of the reasons why I choose this to review in honor of you today. Please let me know and I'll try not to do it again.

The main reason why I choose your blog is because I just created two of my own. One for PureSciFi and the other for PureSciFiPlus. If you want to, and have the time, you can check them out too. I don't mind at all. It doesn't bother me if someone want to review me more than once. You all can review everything I have done, if you want too.

Once again, congratulations on being honored today. Keeo on writing.

Hello ☮ Grum in peace & friendship,

I saw your name on the Anniversary Review List. And I wanted to give you an Anniversary Review. This is your fifth year with us. *Smile* Happy Anniversary *Smile*

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your Short Story entitled Joel. And I liked it a whole lot. It kept me interested in it from beginning to end. Once I started reading it I couldn’t stop until I finished it.

The Story: This a story about a boy named Joel. Who went to see his great grandma Carrie at the hospital. He has a lot of questions about Alzheimer’s. Some of them get answered. But most of them don’t. I can relate to this story because my ex-father has Alzheimer’s. So I know what he’s going through.

Where Your Location Is: There are two locations for this story. One is where they live. And the other one is the hospital. The hospital you did a pretty good job describing it. But you didn’t where they lived. I know it’s hard to do with a dialogue only story. But it can be done. Personally, I try to have at least one solid location in all my stories. It depends on what my Word Count limitations are as to how much detail I put into them. Sometimes it’s just the location itself. Usually, it’s a little bit, if not a lot, more than that.

Your Main Character: Of course, Joel is the main character in this story. But Carrie and George are all mentioned too. Especially Carrie. So is Joel’s mother. Only she didn’t have a name. Why? I would have given her a name too. Personally, I try to give all my characters a name. Especially the main ones. It makes them feel more real if they have one. At least that’s what I think.

How They Spoke to Me: This was for a Dialogue 500 contest, wasn’t it? What was the prompt for this contest? Did it have something to do with Alzheimer’s itself or just a disease? As for the dialogue, it looked pretty good to me.

Any Last Thoughts: My review here isn’t just an anniversary review. It’s also a birthday review. Happy birthday. And Happy Anniversary too.

I liked your story a whole lot. Keep on writing.

Hello Tori Chaney,

Seasons Greeting from a fellow Reviewer. This is the time of year when only nice, not naughty, words are given. I hope that I can give you those words in this review. *BigSmile*

As you probably already know, these are just my opinions. If you don't agree with them that's okay.

Now for the good stuff:  The Review.

Overall Impression: I just finished reading your poetry entitled Tiny Cage for a Golden Bird. And I liked it a whole lot. It kept me interested in it from beginning to end. Once I started reading it I couldn’t stop until I finished it.

The Story: This is a poem about a singing bird who won’t sing. The owner of the bird wants to know why. But she thinks she knows why. At least it read like she was a she.

Where Your Location Is: I'm not sure where the location for this story takes place. But it reads like it’s probably an apartment. It could be a house too. Whatever it is it’s location is unknown. Personally, I try to have at least one solid location in all of my stories. It depends on what my Word Count limitations are as to how much detail I put into it. Sometimes it’s just the location itself. Usually, it’s a little bit, if not a lot, more than that.

Your Main Character: Whoever is trying to get this bird to sing is the main, and only, character in this story. I would have given this person a name. At the very least it would have established gender. Unless it’s a name that could be either gender. I know this is a poem. And names are hard to do. But it can be done. Personally, I try give all of my characters a name. Especially the main ones. I think it makes them feel more real if they have. But that’s just the way I like to write my stories.

How They Spoke to Me: There was no dialogue in the poem – or was there? The way that it read all of it was dialogue. It just didn’t use any quotation marks. If it is, is the lack of quotation marks because this is a poem?

Any Last Thoughts: I don’t know too much about poetry. But I did try to write one a few months ago for another phony contest. If you want to read it you can at my ASA Portfolio – PureSciFiPlus.

I liked your story a whole lot. Keep on writing.
