I can picture several different species of cloven animals approaching the feeding area and having appreciation for the person who feeds, waters, and loves them. I hope to have some livestock species on my homestead soon.

Review of Yes, redbuds sing

I can see the red but trees that grow on my homestead and other flowering red but species like flowers and shrubs deep in the forest which is mostly my imagination at work. The red but trees are real. I could hear the rustling leaves and feel the warmth of spring. You wrote a nice tribute to spring and the red buds.

I'm very glad this story ended well with a united family of faith. A mean and scary black cat with red eyes is easy to visualize. The fear and the dread as they shook in their or under their beds I could feel. The plot and sevens and the characters are realistic.

This is like a Stephen King halloween story. I figured Jason would get as bloody and gooey as possible and when the lawn mower was started I wasn't sure if he actually killed himself, but I also considered it was a gag and his wife was in on it too. I could see the characters, scenes, and imagine spectators gawking in horror.

The mention of [money lust] gives me the idea that whatever she is leading is on the shady side of the law be it thievery or something of that sort, or illicit relationships for payment. Hiding under her hat makes me think she is not happen in her own skin as a leader or that those being lead are powerful and would exploit her weaknesses. Love seems to be the major quest above money, yet because it is perceived as unachievable the money has a stronger hold. I could see the characters and scenes clearly.

Once upon a time "the customer is always right" used to be a business statement, but, these days not so much. Posing questions made me think about how I would as a customer relate to customer service verses hoop I would relate as a customer service representative. Very, very nice rhythm and colorful introduction to Charlie and his circumstances. Charlie is a very, very lucky cat to have chosen you for his friend and family member. I believe saying something like "See you later," is better because I will be with family, friends, and acquaintances when I leave this earth. I will be with them and God.

The emotions I felt as I pictured you rooted to the spot were sadness, loneliness, dispair, and regret mostly along with a bit of pain or rethinking this a lot of pain. Your poem's story is easy to understand. The words guided me smoothly. Picturing the story gave me a close-up of your heart.

As I read your story I felt concern and sadness for the dogs because some were trying to survive and others were pets, but the dogs were friends and part of a social structure. I could also feel the anxiety because of the neighbor trying to hurt the dogs because they were barking. Rage, I suspect was brewing but fortunately, the neighbor didn't do worse. This is a good show of conflict. The husband and wife should try to keep the dogs safe which could be a source of worry and anxiety something that I thought of when considering their situation. Your plot, characters, and scene are believable.
