This is a nice little article about blood pressure for a layman.
It would be advantageous to write a line or two about hypertension being a silent killer. It would be also good for the lay reader to emphasise the need for exercise, weight control and salt control for those having high BP.

This is a nice true story as experienced by the writer. While he was swimming (during training), he found that a large number of swallows congregated at the roof of the swimming pool.
This article emphasises and advises about the importance of not overspending during the holiday festivities so as to avoid depression that may follow (because of financial issues) once the festivities are over.
The above advice is a sane advice which, as a matter of fact, is inbuilt in the Asian / oriental psyche. The Western culture is more in need of such advice, especially as regards year-end holidays and festivities.

I don't really know what to say about this item. I am a male aged 79 and have seen a bit of the world, having been an Army officer, a professor of Medicine and, since 2001, a practicing advocate in Indian courts. The writer of this item and the character of the piece are both ladies.
I am unable to fully appreciate the sentiments of the girl here. To me, they seem hyperbolic, typical of the thought that all men are demons and all women are virtuous sufferers.
I know what I wrote above may be objectionable to many, but I have to be honest in my views and I am just being honest. [However, being honest does not mean I am necessarily correct.]
1--You apparently wanted to present this information as an essay. An essay should have paragraphs with, preferably, an introduction and a summary. However, you have written independent sentences without grouping them into paras. Grouping sentences into paragraphs helps the reader understand the subject matter properly. On the other hand, it helps the write also, enabling him to present his thoughts / information in a proper, categorical and sequential manner.
