Your title " " really caught my attention.


Rhythm & Flow:


This piece flows with ease coming from within. Your rhythm is smooth right to the end.

Imagery & Emotions:


I see a lost love never to return. A love that fizzled out like a candle burning out. I see one blinded by love and the other moving on. One mourns for the death of the relationship, while the other has long ago. Leaving the other behind.


Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

As time ran out, shattered dreams,
were like the fallen dove.

You have written a beautiful piece. It is sad that most relationships end this way. You captured the raw essence of a shattered love. Great job.

Title:


Your title "The Rocking Horse Christmas" really caught my attention.


Storyline, plot and characters:


You can never go wrong with a Christmas story to delight the young ones. A beautiful story to hand down from generation to generation. The best kind.

Imagery & Emotions:


It reminds me of my childhood, of the stories Grandpa would tell us of his days as a cowboy, rancher and foreman. Never a dull moment at my grandparents ranch. It reminded of our simple Christmas's we would have. Now day's if you don't get kids iPhones, iPads or some type of technical devices, you don't love them.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

"Sis's package held a hand full of pretty satin ribbons for her hair. She beamed.

This has to be my favorite lines "She beamed." over something so simple. You captured every detail of emotion's that these 3 had for the missing male in their life. As the reader I felt the heartache that Pa had being separated from his family and at war. Excellent job.

I want to tell you thank you for sharing this wonderful Christmas story with us. I really enjoyed reading it even in June. You can never go wrong reading one all year long. This girl had a Christmas tree up one time year round, I changed out the ornaments...lol May your day be blessed. It's an honor to review June's Featured Author.

Your title "The Kiss" really caught my attention.


Storyline, plot and characters:


A true love story of hearts that have always been one.

Imagery & Emotions:


Ok, just a second while I get my Kleenex please. This is truly a heart felt love story. Of a love that belongs together. I once had a love he told me if I died before him, that he would not remarry another. "I asked why not?"
He said, "Because I would died the minute after you, with a broken heart!"
It is far and few between true love now. You did a wonderful job capturing the love that these two had. I read this to my son and his girlfriend. I did leave a a few parts...lol. But, they really loved it and thought it was beautiful. Amay, you wrote a wonderful piece.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

“Oh Mrs. Amy, Mr. Ron, You look so happy, so at peace. You two were so special, been in love forever. Now you’ll have eternity.”
Ok, I had to use the whole statement here. It all goes together. Beautiful piece 🥇

Your title "Christ in me- Christ in you" really caught my attention.


Rhythm & Flow:


What a lovely piece your rhythm is smooth and flows with ease. No rhyming in this piece. So easy to read.

Imagery & Emotions:


The beauty in all things that is of God. Isn't it wonderful when you come upon someone hat you know is faithful to God. You can recognize them right off in a crowd. I love it when we fellowship in my church the love that you feel is so genuine. You can feel the difference when you go out in public these days. Sometimes I want to hide out, but I know that it's not best for others. Because they need to see us and want that happiness that is within us.

May I truly become a reflection of Christ to you

Actually I love the whole thing. I hope that I reflect Christ in me to you. I feel Him so deep within my soul. It's like nothing I've ever known. Great Job.

Your rhythm flows with great ease. As if your words fell upon the paper.

I believe and have faith that others will find truth to your words. It is easy to lose your way in this great big world of ours. It is our faith and believing that keeps us strong. But, in order to do that you need to stay true to His word, that means reading it. We all falter in that respect.

I truly can relate to the emotion's that it truly brings when you get the new colored case. I was bouncing off the walls for a week. It still hits me with Great Pride when I look at my case everyday or when someone asks me about it. My heart gets all warm and fuzzy. Reviewing class? Hmmm, I sure need that, been feeling like I need some fine tuning in that department.😉

Then the other day, while I've been away from a computer, I opened my email to find a notice "You are Blue." Me?

I know that exploding feeling inside of you. It doesn't sink in at first, a few minutes pass then you read it again, then hours pass and you read it again. You think no they made a mistake typed in the wrong name. Then you start getting all these emails, it starts sinking in.

Editing, you will be a great Moderator. You totally have it in you.

Very interesting plot, even for her to fall into his trap. I truly thought it was going to be Jolene that ended up in danger. A slight twist of fate for Tilisha.

Sure we all want to believe that the handsome hunk couldn't be the evil person. But, I do hear that most are. They can persuade anyone male or female, as long as they are attractive.

Your piece is wonderfully written, I found no errors to distract me from reading. You drew me into your story with details of each character. You really had to, so your readers understood why she went with Charles.

"There's been disappearances and such in Cancun. That's one of the reasons marines patrol the beach."

Wow, I was totally surprised with your twist. I loved that you had him researching and the people he spoke to, helping him to discovery a new plant life.

I could imagine being in the jungle looking for beautiful exotic plants. Getting excited when I was told there was an interesting plant deep in the jungle.

Your details took me to the jungle searching for a unique plant to call my own. You always inspire me with your words and descriptions, you never disappoint me. Taking me into the world's that you creat. I found no errors or distraction's to keep from wanting more.

A deep filled story of a love to the very end. Love of a couple who only have each other. A love for one to continue life for the other.

Imagery & Emotions:


A bucket kinda list, I think that this is a great idea. If I had someone to carry on my last wishes, last things that I wanted to do and would not be able to. And to help ensure that they would go forward. I totally understand her feelings also, not sure if she could continue without the man, the love she had ever known.

Conclusion:

“You have to,” he said. “There isn’t a world without you in it.”

This is so beautiful of him to tell her. The tears ran down my cheeks reading these line's. You have described the love that these two have for each other. A love like no other they have never known.

A wonderful piece about a woman who finally wins her freedom back. But, does she ever understand that?

Imagery & Emotions:


I think every reader that reads your piece can and will relate to it. I know I related to it more ways than one. Male or female it won't matter. There are so many domineering spouses. I'm so glad that she woke up.

Your title "Wishing Well" really caught my attention.


Storyline, plot and characters:


This is a very interesting story of a man who is trying to save his wife and daughter.

Imagery & Emotions:


Wow... I didn't see that coming. A split personality to boot. I hate to say this but he took the right option. Good still beat evil. It didn't hit me quite at first and I had to read it over to realize that he was protecting them by throwing himself in the well.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

Jack leapt into the darkness, his only fading wish to awaken to sunlight in the pit below.
Alone.

Ok, I know this is actually two but you need the other to complete the line. Great story, twist, and cliff hanger all wrapped into one. Your eye for detail, gave me the imagination to be sitting next to him in his car, then standing next to him as he looked down into the well. Seeing the look in his eyes, made me realize what choice he took. His own! Great job, I found no errors in your piece.

Your piece has an easy flow about it. The rhythm is perfect making it easy to follow from start to finish.

Imagery & Emotions:


At one time every human will witness this kind of love. A love that is in your soul. The details that you give are telling this writer of the love that two people shared. A love that went beyond death.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

Surrounded by a sea of darkness,
except for the floods of light
emitting from the fires of your heart.

I especially love this part,this speaks of love coming from within her. The love shining through to your heart.
You wrote this in five minutes, very well done. I found no errors in your piece. Some have a issue writing free form. It comes natural to some and not to most. I perfer free form. It allows me the freedom to write how and what I'm feeling at that very moment. Most of my pieces are done in five minutes. I write from within my soul and is put to pen. This seems to come natural to you also. Great job...

Your title " PARALLEL" really caught my attention.


Storyline, plot and characters:


Wow, a new kind of twist. A detective investigating his own murder? Great detail on your characters, the Captain and the Coroner perfect.

Imagery & Emotions:


I can see a drunken detective, after losing his wife, trying to coup with life. I know how it feels like after the death of a loved one. You just walk around in a big gigantic fog, numb, bulivius to what is happening around you.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

“I was just wondering, in lue of recent events,” he said indicating to the body, “If this is an imposter, or is it the real Jack?”

Wow, what a cliffhanger, I need to know it there is more. Just don't leave me hanging, but poor Jack! Your piece is written well it kept me intrigued from beginning to the end. I did find a couple of errors that caught me off guard. It is the same word. recognise it should berecognize. I always find it helpful to have a second pair of eyes myself. Hope this helps. You did an awesome job and I would like to find out about Jack. You know that you did a great job, when they want more.

Your title "Pain Again" really caught my attention.


Rhythm & Flow:


Your rhythm flowed the perfectly together and rhyming was very natural with your word choices.

Imagery & Emotions:


Unfortunately, I can relate to your piece. I quite understand what you mean about pain. I wished no one was ever in any kind of pain. I had my ribs dislocate and when they did it did manger damage to my neck and back. It was 5 months before it was realized what happened. No, surgery can be preformed due to my heart being in front of the damaged area. So, small task like reading, reviewing and writing can be big task. Your piece speaks of difficulty being able to complete the things you are passionate about. I fell ya. Job well down.

I'll fight you every day no matter what you try today

This is exactly what I do and I wouldn't doubt that your reader's will and can relate to your piece. Without a doubt everyone should have this mentally and fight no matter what is set before you/them.

Title:


Your title "The Omega Sword" really caught my attention.


Storyline, plot and characters:


I always love a good Mid-evil story. This has a great twist to it. Your charcators are strong and bring live to your piece.

Imagery & Emotions:


I always like this era. Although I'm not sure about not having the amenities that we have today. I have never figured out why this is suppose to be a romantic era. Maybe it's due to the Kings, Queens and Knights. You gave great details that gave me the sense of being there.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

His evil had ended.

Always have to kill the bad guy, even if it's your brother. Now that sucks. I did wish that it had told why Asthar left and Tyraneous had hatred towards his father. Unless I missed it somewhere. If I did my apologies. Your piece is well written and I found no errors. I like that it wasn't the normal Mid-evil stories. You gave it a twist that I didn't expect. Great job.

Title:


Your title "It Was So Hard " really caught my attention.


Storyline, plot and characters:


A story of a Hero, his ultimate sacrifice, his coming home and his families sacrifice.

Imagery & Emotions:


It doesn't get any easier. I'm a military mom, daughter, niece and grand daughter a long line of military. It tugs at my heart the honor that most people give to military now. It use not to be. I always salute military, I live near a AF base and see them often. They are surprised when I stop and talk to them. It's the norm around here. So not many people stop and talk to them. But, being a military mom and seeing these young ones so far from home. I know that I'd want mine to be spoke to.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

I looked the principal in the eye and told her to do what ever she thought fair as punishment, but to remember that had a staff member taken care of the problem, Michaela would'nt have had to.

Although I cried from beginning to almost the end. This part made me laugh. Your right in so many ways. The teachers should have taken care of it to start with. I hate bullying, it doesn't belong in the world. Just plain and simple. If we stomp it out, we wouldn't have the problems today.

I want to tell you thank you for sharing this story about a Hero and his family. It is written well, but I did find around 4 errors. They are all the same (thier) it should be their quick easy fixes. I gave you a 5 because it was well deserved for giving us this heart felt story. May God bless you and your family.

Your title "My Father's Hands" really caught my attention.


Rhythm & Flow:


This piece has a wonderful rhythm and flow making this easy to follow. Has no distractions that could take away from it.

Imagery & Emotions:


I see a young girl who loves her father and only wants his attention on her. Ahh the love of a father and daughter. It is sad when you lose that connection, you feel lost. I lost my mom at a early age. But, my father left us all behind for a new family. I still yearn for his love.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

Reaching out and feeling his fingers, feeling his firm grasp
The knowledge of his love within a small touch is so powerful. You had such emotional details that I felt my father's arm holding mine as we walked down the isle on my wedding day.

I want to tell you thank you for sharing this very personal moment with us. I really enjoyed reading it today, it is a beautiful piece and written well. May your day be blessed.

Your title "And The Trees Danced" really caught my attention.


Rhythm & Flow:


A beautiful flow and rhythm making this piece easy to read.

Imagery & Emotions:


Your detail in describing the actions of the tree. It was as if I was standing there watching it sway to and fro with the cool wind blowing and the rain falling upon my face. A sweet summer shower.

The trees dance with the wind with unbridled passion.

The beauty of a storm even the trees enjoy it, well most of the time. Unless it's a bad storm. I found your piece beautifully written and I found no errors to cause me to lose interest. You had me from the start to the very end.

Every word has an easy flow to them which has a perfect rhythm.


Imagery & Emotions:


I can picture a young woman asking the man she unconditional loves, why? Why are you doing this to us? The love she has for him and it hurts to think of the things that another woman is doing with the love of her life.

My favorite line is:

I'm feeling betrayed and deceived because you have fled

It is so heart breaking when one deceives and betrays the one that loves them. I think your piece is beautifully written and I find no errors except this small one I'm i'm feeling betrayed, other than that I see nothing else.

Your title "The Wagon Wheel" really caught my attention.

This has a great plot that I didn't even see coming not even at the end. The characters are not what I'd expect to do such a thing.

Imagery & Emotions:


I imagined a couple waiting outside their restaurant, taking quiet time before closing up from a very busy day. You had me right from the start. I imagined an old restaurant with great home cooked meals and great desserts. But, the twist that you put to the end blow me away. I even had to read it twice. Then, I shook me head saying to myself "What"... You totally got me there. I sure you have all your reader's say that.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

She nodded and pulled two masks out of the glove compartment.

Lol... I still can't get over the twist. Great job, you kept me captivated and interested right up to the end. A very well written piece.

What a lovely story between a girl and her grandfather. A story of love, comfort and compassion.

I relate to your piece, because I am one who believes in Angel's. The belief that there are other forms of life on this planet other then what we see. The beauty and the protection that they give to us is unlike anything we have never known. If we all could have just one last wish.

My favorite line is:

With one last glance at his beloved granddaughter, he turned around and walked into the Angel’s arms.

The beauty of this line is so heart warming. Knowing that he received his last wish is so beautiful. You have written a wonderful piece, I found no errors and it flows with ease. Giving details of their last moments together that are cherished to each.

When I read the title, I knew that I had to review this piece. I love stories relating to historical facts.

Imagery & Emotions:


Your great eye for detail came out in this piece. I imagined that I was right there next to her. Listening, feeling, smelling the rawness of this execution. I myself find it revolting to watch another died. I guess I wouldn't be a good soldier or nurse. I see that your reader's will be captured by every word.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

"Robespierre, can you hurry? My hair is getting wet."

You made this so real, I could feel it raining upon my face. After I read your piece, I went and Googled Charlotte Corday. Very interesting, it's been awhile since I've done research or study history. So I found this very interesting indeed.

The rhythm and flow is easy to follow. You have rhyming that is smoothly inserted into your piece.

Your piece speaks of lies, hurt, deceitfulness, screams, pain, tears and most of all broken love. When one does these things to another, it brings so much grief and anger to the other. When there should have never been.

The words we utter ring out cold and dank.

Your title "Age of Innocence" really caught my attention.


Storyline, plot and characters:


A story of 3 sister's growing up and learning the value of loving each other.

Imagery & Emotions:


Oh such fond memories, I also grew up in time of innocence with my 2 sister's, but also 2 brothers and I was the oldest also. The stories I could tell. My family was at the emergency room at least 4 to 5 times a year. Some pretty bad ones too. We also have learned the value of loving each other.

Conclusion:


My favorite line is:

To love each other, despite our differences, to cherish each other, and to stand for each other when there is no one else.

This is a beautiful line, it means a lot to you. Your piece is beautifully written and I found no errors in it. I cherish the memories that my family and I shared. Tomorrow is never promised and so many people take advantage of that.
